Updates are fairly obvious. These are things I planned on getting or improving in one of my next few threads.
A man stands on a hill overlooking a valley of Cherry Blossoms. Not much is known about him, but then few facts remain the same from telling to telling. Some say he's a tall man with black hair and even blacker eyes. Others say he's a short older man with no hair and aged grey eyes. Other stories are even more fantastic and unbelieviable.

A man stands on a hill overlooking a valley of Cherry blossoms as a breeze plays with the trees. Who is this man, nobody knows for certain, or where he actually came from. The wind whispers the name others have called him for years as it curls around him, Nightstalker.

He comes and goes as the wind, with ways mysterious and unfathomable. A legend among legends, only one thing is known for certain, if Nightstalker's after you, your already dead.
- Excerpt from "The Legends of Nightstalker".

Name: Nightstalker
Age: unknown, (appears 20ish, but this could be one of his many tricks)
Eye/Hair Color: Black (This could be another of his disguises)
Height/Weight: Speculation varies, most place him between 150 and 250 pounds.

Appearance: No one's sure what he is. Some say he's the new elf that was hired before the Chancellor was killed. Others say he's the old Akashiman cook who slipped Poison into the princes drink, still others say he's the Princess's playful Nekojin boyfriend. No one's for sure what he looks like. Some say he's actually a rather common looking young Akashiman, skilled at altering his appearance.

Personality: How does one describe the personality of a rumor? Nightstalker is known for being silent, hidden, unknowable. Yet those who claim to know him say he's a charming friendly fellow. Those who have had the great fortune of knowingly employing Nightstalker's services say he's humble and apologetic. Perhaps it's all an act, designed to allow Nightstalker to hide and blend in. He has a penchant for Lotus Flowers, they are his signature, if you will.

Skills:
Swordsmanship: Average. Nightstalker does not like using blades unless he has too.

Kenjutsu: Nightstalker has learned how to fight hand to hand, using assasination techniques his Master is giving him. In this, he is adept, for he loves to fight with his hands.

Throwing: Combining both accuracy and the degree of the throw, this skill determines how well Nightstalker can use throwing weapons. Presently average.

"other" skills

Alter Self: The art of the Ninja is the ability to remain hidden, even in plain sight. In an incident involving a goblin warboss, and stolen Alerarian technology, Nightstalker gained magic powers. One of the first things he learned from Master Hokkaido was how to use his increased Chi levels to physically alter his appearence, removing the need for makeup. He can alter such things as Hair color and length, increase or decrease his weight by fifty pounds in either direction, increase or decrease his muscle mass, which does NOT alter his actual strength any, change his eye color, or change his skin color.

Silent step: Nightstalker knows how to move without making a sound, but is by no means an expert, and creaky floorboards and the like give him trouble. However, the advent of increased Chi levels has allowed Nightstalker to learn how to muffle his steps even further, and practice at Master Hokkaido's Pagoda has taught him how to spot trouble areas, but he's still by no means an expert. Rather he is adept at moving silently.

Apothecary: Nightstalker is being trained in the art of medicene. He knows some common remedies to some common illnesses, but he also knows how to put people to sleep for a short while, how to make them temporarily ill, or apply poison to his blade without poisoning himself. (NPC's Only. Not for use against PC's. Not for use against other player's NPC's, unless it's been agreed upon beforehand.)

Shuriken: Nightstalker's favorite skill. After studying a Shuriken purchased from a shop for awhile, Nightstalker discovered a secret technique to use his Chi magic to generate Shuriken! Stats: One Shuriken once every three hours. Material: Iron Quality: Awful

Acrobatics: Nightstalker has learned to flip and dodge in acrobatic style, making it harder to hit him. Compared to other Ninja, circus performers, and carnival workers the world over, Nightstalker is below average.

Items:

A common steel Wakizashi and it's sheath: The pommel has a single solitary Black Lotus. As obtained here, it is now imbued with an ability called Acid Bite. :

As a level zero character, he can only cut through metals of Tier 4 and below. For woods, tier 7 and below. For hides, Tier 5 and below. For bones, tier 4 and below. For cloth tier 6 and below. Anything higher than that, he may cause some slightly damage to, but the skill is not strong enough to cut through. This skill currently doesn't work on glass, for whatever composition reasons.

Each blow adds the equivalent of half an extra blow to the things Acid Bite can effect. Thus for reasons of simplicity, if Acid Bite can work, than his sword is 1.5 times more powerful than normal.

Dual sided garb: One one side is the garb of a common Akashiman farmer, on the other is a black suit used for remaining hidden at night. Comes with a black hood and face mask.

Familier NPC: Master Roshi.
This dead Ninja is the adopted father of Nightstalker and his teacher. He is permitted to be by Nightstalker's side on occasion to continue his training and offer up advice.
Master Roshi is prevented from actually helping Nightstalker directly with anything more, and as such will not appear in battles except perhaps at the end after the fight is finished to offer pointers and advice on how to do better next time. In quests, he might appear at any time, but once again, cannot interact with the physical world, and so can only pass on advice and knowledge as needed. Because Master Roshi comes and goes through Nightstalker's sword, his passage will ALWAYS cause it to become Glossy Black, whether it is his current sword, or a future sword, thus making it seem to those who do not know the secret, that his sword is unbreakable, which is far from the truth.

Master Hokkaido:
The second of Nightstalker's Ninja masters. Hokkaido is said to have once been one of the legendary Demons of Akashima. The Demons of Akashima are said to be the six most powerful Ninja alive, and the only six in direct continuous uninterrupted service to the king and queen of Akashima. No one has ever seen any of the Demons, only heard rumor and heresay from the palace. The Palace denies the existence of any such Ninja, but still, it's known that problems plaguing the palace have a disturbing tendency to vanish without explanation, sometimes overnight. That Master Hokkaido once served as one of these legends sparks off a bit of enthusiasim in Nightstalker.
Yet Hokkaido seems to be completly insane, for he's known to be seen ranting and raving at walls and objects for imagined offenses, blaming problems on imagined faults, creatures, and things that do not exist, and locking himself in the closet for hours on end so he doesn't find himself, or so things don't find him.

At the same time, Hokkaido is psychotic in his training regimen, as Nightstalker has frequently woken up to find himself chained to one device or another, or under attack. He's regularly woken up at all hours of the night to begin training, or to go fetch something, and if he fails at anything at all, Nightstalker is beaten with a Bamboo Cane "For additonal training in trouble spots."

For all this, something in Nightstalker sparks a bit of fatherly concern in Nightstalker, causing him to use his legendary healing powers whenever training gets too extreme. Hokkaido refuses to leave his Pagoda for any reason at all whatsoever, so his skills are of utterly no use to Nightstalker in any fashion, save as a teacher to pass them on to Nightstalker.

Do I have enough room to add below average Acrobatics for improved defense, or below average escape artistry?

Either, but both would be pushing it.
