The Duke finally gets cancelled!

I must say, I was looking forward to a new Duke Nukem. Sadly, I just learned Duke Nukem Forever got canceled (http://videogames.yahoo.com/events/plugged-in/gaming-s-oldest-preorder-may-go-unfulfilled/1312328), finally, after 12 YEARS!.

Anyone else disappointed ever-so-slightly that this will never come to fruition?

Duke peaked with Duke Nukem 3D. Can't get any better than that.

This blows. Duke is awesome and I'm amongst the few that actually believed the game would eventually be released. However, even though the game is officially canceled, I don't think we've seen the last of the Duke. Sooner or later, somebody will buy the license and make a new Duke Nukem game, because in games today it's only a matter of time before the old ideas get redone. And Duke Nukem is forever. :P

I liked ol'e Duke. It was the first game that innoculated me for raunchy shit in games. Was also the game I discovered my dad gets motion sickness while playing.
