Name: Vivian Mariam, (Although, if asked, she thinks it is VIVI74D)
Age: 27
Race: human (but she thinks she is an android)
Hair Color: brown
Eye Color: green
Height: 6'0" (5' 7" without the suit)
Weight: Over 200 lbs, (162 lbs without the suit)
------
Occupation: Scientist/Warrior
Appearance: A beautiful, but nerdy looking woman with close to an hourglass body. She wears a jumpsuit and what appears to be some odd sort of mechanical armor way ahead of Althana's time, but I'll get to that later.
History: (For the first time ever (I think), a character with 3 different histories. Yes, this WILL get complicated.)
Here is the constant in all 3 histories: Way in the future on a different world, there was a a brilliant and beautiful scientist named Vivian Mariam who was in charge of creating androids during a long war. There were 26 different models that she had to make, each with it's own abilities, and she gave each model a type name based on it's abilities that started with a different letter of the alphabet. She called these models VIVIs, naming them after herself. She created one per week and then took a week's rest to help herself recuperate. She didn't like war, and she was being forced to make these androids to fight in one, but she could fix that. That was not why she had to recuperate.
See, she put her heart and soul into her work, all of it. This was why she only created only one VIVI per week, she literally put part of her soul into each one in order to make them more peace loving like her and guarantee that they only be used as a defensive weapon. But, of course, she then had to let her soul heal itself each time. After creating 26 models, one of each type, she swore never to build another again these were the only ones ever created by her, and will henceforth be referred to as the Alpha VIVIs. And this is where the history splits.
History 1, what really happened:
Not everyone was happy about there only being one of each model. This included her assistant, and he planned on acting upon this. It didn't take long for Vivian to realize her assistant was stealing the blueprints for her work and had confronted him about it many times. Day in and day out, she begged her assistant to stop making more VIVIs, but the assistant ignored her every time. Soon realizing that her soul would be needed to make these VIVIs work properly, she began to fear for her life. Vivian decided to make one last VIVI model in a secret part of the lab. This model would be a defensive type model with major offensive capabilities and a few special alterations. For one, it was hardly an android at all. In fact, it was a combat suit. She put half her soul into it's reserves one day and another half as soon as her soul fully healed.
Ten days after completing this project, Vivian was confronted by her assistant who, since he had yet to bring any to life with a soul, had been able to create VIVIs way faster than Vivian had been able to. He had created 2600 VIVIs of his own (100 of each type. They will herein be known as the Betas). All they needed now was a soul to come to life, or even a small portion of one, and the assistant knew this. Hence, he had been working on another project as of late, and as soon as he saw Vivian, he confronted her with it. He targetted Vivian with a magical cube, created to suck out someone's entire soul and divide it equally among any number of targets.
As her soul was torn from her body and divided, one of the Alphas, an S type, known for it's extremely high rate of speed, saved her at the last second and ran her to the suit she had made in private, connecting her to it. If even the smallest bit of her soul remained, she would be good as new when connected to the suit. What the S type didn't know was that the suit was programmed to rewrite her memories as soon as she was connected to it. It was not told what memories to reprogram, just to reprogram them so that anything painful in her recent past would be an altered memory.
History 2, The reprogrammed history: Ok, rewinding back to the constant, her altered history is like this:
Her assistant was quite appalled with her unwillingness to make more and stole the plans for each model from her. Fearing the worst, Vivian decided to make a second defensive model in secret. She put half her soul into it and set it to only activate under the condition of her death. In the meantime, it would recieve all her memories, and see everthing she saw. Seven days later, the assistant began mass producing each type of VIVI, but, of course, they were all missing one very crucial component. The creator's soul. Three days after that, the assistant finished work on a solution: A machine that he used on Vivian to transfer part of her soul to each of the VIVIs he made.
This machine tore Vivian's soul apart so badly that she died instantly and 2600 VIVIs (100 of each type) all gained a piece of her soul. Of course, since Vivian died, the special model Vivian had created just in case the worst happened turned itself on. It's serial number was VIVI74D, and when it woke up, the Speed type was standing in front of it, looking worried.
"Good, you're alright." the speed type said to VIVI74D
"Why wouldn't I be? Though the fact that I'm talking to you means that our creater is dead."
"But... I see. What did Vivian call you?" The speed type replied, beginning to understand what was going on.
"She... Didn't give me a name, but you can call me VIVI74D or VIVI for short. May I ask what you are doing here?"
"I..." The S type hesitated. In it's mind, it knew that VIVI was Vivian, but it also knew that VIVI would never believe that story. "I came to make sure nothing went wrong in your activation. It was taking a while." The speed type finally said.
Suddenly a loud bang was heard and the S type fell over dead, a fist sized bullet hole having gone straight through it's heart. VIVI looked outside in terror as she saw around a hundred or so Betas surrounding the building. They had sniffed out her soul.
Back in the lab, an all out slaughter was going on. The Alphas were almost all dead already, and the assistant was too busy making a break for it to even try to figure out what was going on. The truth behind the matter was that due to the soul not being willingly given, the 2600 Betas had all gone rogue, and were destroying stuff left and right. They had had a taste of souls and now they wanted more. They could sense the souls of others around, and the Alphas had all been trying to hold them off, but to no avail, as one by one, they were killed.
Back in the secret area where VIVI74D was, VIVI slammed and barred a steel door and began to try to figure out how to escape this scenario. She suddenly saw the computer and got an idea. Typing away as fast as she could, she created a portal that would remain open for 5 seconds only. This portal would lead back in time 30 years and was programmed to place her in Vivians home. She planned to warn Vivian and hopefully keep everything from happening.
As soon as she stepped through the portal though, the building she was in got blown up by the Betas and everything went haywire, her memories got rewritten again and all jumbled up, and she was no longer on course to anywhere close to where she wanted to be. She was sent back in the past over a thousand years to an odd planet known as Althanas.
History 3, one jumbled up mess of memories: Rewinding again to the constant and picking up from there, this is what VIVI remembers now:
The assistant of Vivian was displeased with her and murdered her in cold blood with a gun. VIVI74D awakened and ran off to attempt to kill the traitor of an assistant, but the assistant had just realized his mistake. He needed Vivian's soul to make the Beta's work, so he used a cube to suck up the souls of all of the Alphas and divide them amongst his 2600 Betas. These weren't enough, though, and as soon as VIVI came in, he tried to suck her soul up too. However, it reacted quite strangely to VIVI and sent her back to an unknown time and place.
As she crash-landed in this new time, VIVI realized that her suit had been bent and torn asunder and almost all of her gear was destroyed. Almost nothing on her suit was working anymore and she was in desperate need of medical attention. This is where her journey on Althanas begins.
------
The suit was SUPPOSED to teach her to be a master of a lot of weapons, but as it is, that function is beyond repair, as are her weapons. this is not to say it isn't influincing her, as she remembers a small bit of what it was supposed to teach her.

Skills: Novice Sword fighter
Novice hand to hand fighter
Novice gun fighter (No, she is not going to get a gun until a lot later level, but I still wanted to put this here for the sake of it not just randomly popping up then)
1.5 x normal human strength: (Her suit gives her this ability. With her suit in disrepair, though, it's 0.5, but the first quest she has will fix this. Without her suit, she has normal human strength)
1.5 x normal human speed: (Her suit gives her this ability. With her suit in disrepair, though, it's 0.5, but the first quest she has will fix this. Without her suit, she has normal human speed)
Equipment:
Her combat suit: has the strength of Iron armor because it is broken beyond repair. She can take her armor off for around an hour, but only once per day to do repairs. Her armor contains the soul keeping her alive, after all. This cannot be upgraded, but she can buy better armor to wear over it. (Unsellable, plus it would be suicidal to sell it anyway)
A little scrap metal and a few wires: All her other gear was destroyed in the crash or lost in the portal. this is all that is left (this will be used to repair her suit a small bit in the first quest. See skills to see what small results the repairs will yield)
Age: 27
Race: human (but she thinks she is an android)
