Normandy

Normandy sat beside her. Her name escaped him, yet he knew that it was the woman he loved.
Her face was a blur, yet he could clearly see her smile.
Suddenly there was a blinding light, and as it faded he was alone, engulfed in darkness.
*******
Normandy slowly opened his eyes. He groaned softly. That dream again. He had lost count of how many nights in a row he had had it now. It made no sense to him. The woman in the dream, he knew was Fae, the angel he loved with his whole being. She was back in the angel's realm, while he was stuck here in the mortal realm. Ridiculous.
"Finally awake, eh?" A gruff voice cackled beside him.
Normandy slowly turned his head to find a huge, leathery-skinned demon hovering beside his bed.
"Oc'rint... Do you ever sleep?" Normandy muttered drowsily, rolling onto his side so his back was to the demon.
Oc'rint chuckled. "Why would I sleep when I've got the night life to enjoy?"
"Whatever..." Normandy sighed, then sat up from the dewy grass. Camping out under the stars had always been something he enjoyed. He ran his fingers through his mussed white and black hair. "What time is it?"
He noticed the sky was still a deep blue-black from the night, so it must have been extremely early. That damned dream had been waking him earlier and earlier...
"We should get moving soon."
Oc'rint grinned. "Smart thinking. I was just about to say the same thing."
Normandy flinched at the nauseating aroma emitting from the oversized monster. Sure, most demons cared about hygiene and grooming themselves... Unfortunately, Normandy had gotten stuck with a fiend who could care less about it. The beasts teeth were yellowed and rotting, his leathery, worn skin was rancid and the tufts of fur along his body were greased with natural oils and wreaked of rotting vegetation. Dirt was smeared all along the splintered scales of his tail. If Normandy had to take a wild guess, without a second thought he would assume the demon had never bathed once in its life.
The man stood and stretched heavily, reaching to the starlit sky. "So, where to next?"
Oc'rint glanced up. "Hm... let us head north. I've got a good feeling about it." His bulgy, golden eyes scanned Normandy.
He nodded. "Right." He dropped his arms. "North it is, then."
Slipping his heavy black boots on, he left them untied as he began to trek foreward. It was the beginning of a new day, and hopefully one step closer to finding his wings.

Quiet and peaceful, a small group of trees say aside from a tiny little village. Bustling with it's delicate population striving for survival. Children played, while adults, women and men alike worked, wiping sweat from their brow. The cool midsummer's heat beating down. The shade of the trees quite refreshing. That was until a freezing sensation emerged from no where. Like that of the coldest darkest winters night.
A small slit, less then an inch in width and ascending nearly 7 feet up from the ground formed from no where. Simply floating, like a two dimensional image forming in mid air. Slowly a single hand pulled from the slit, sipping it open more. The frozen sensation rushing out. leaving a lacing of frost on the nearby grass. Pulling forth was a single man.
His skin as pale as the snow itself. Eyes like suns, no pupils no pigment with in them, as if they were a solid form of light. The silver locked framed his face delicately. Like a willow they hung freely from his scalp. The blood red patch standing quite vibrant compared to his lacking pigmentation. The man was well toned, Slender, yet bulky. He wore gray pants. Baggy, blooming out before being sucked in by the shin guards that wrapped around his calf. Jika-tabi, or split toe saddles, made of what appeared to be some form of wood hugged his feet. Sleeves reaching from the palms of his hands to his elbows, a dark black leather. Upon his torso was tight leathery cloth covering his chest and reaching down to the top of his abs.
Once his second foot pulled free the from what seemed as a rip in reality, it simply vanished. The hollow eyes looking over the small village. His figure remained unrevealed to the innocent at the moment. Though the stitch like marking as well as the several others his body held, would quickly give him away. Slowly stepping forward letting the wooden tabi's tap against the ground as he did so.
It wasn't long before all the people had simply stopped. The tension brought from his presents was like a wave, hitting everyone in it's path. To them he'd be considered a demon. But, that wasn't even the half of it. Many of the people instinctively finding him a thread, did probably the worst in the scenario. Instead of running, possibly having a chance to live. They came at him, with what ever they could get their hands on.
None of them, what you would call a warrior sort of person. Sure they were strong, they were farmers after all. They had to work their bodies to the limits to survive. Though it didn't make them ready to fight someone like himself.
Man after man came at him. Shovels, ho's, rakes, literally anything they could get their hands on. It was like watching mice running into a lawn mower. At first simply striking them men. His blows capable of completely destroying viral internal organs, severing them from the rest of the system. His blows strong enough to break even a normal mans hand. However his were, like steel.
Aside from shattering multiple bones in the arms and legs, he also struck many blows between the fifth and ninth Thoracic vertebrate. Which caused almost every time instant death. Soon enough all the men had formed a carpet of bodies around him. His eyes watched the few that remained alive. The men who didn't rush in sheltering their families in their arms before rushing them inside.
The eyes of one certain female caught his attention. A cold lively shiver fell down his spine. Images flashed in his head. He stumbled slightly as his hands cupped the sides of his head. Letting out a few cries of pain, he managed to catch the attention of a few more men. Seeing an opening they quickly advance on the intruder. Only to find they had a surprise waiting to meet them.
Regaining control over himself with just enough time he stepped back dodging a ho. Quickly lifting his arm as a milky white substance oozed relatively quickly from his Carpus and covered the forearm in what appeared as bone. Taking the strike from a hammer and another from a shovel before he forced his arm back whipping their arms and weapons back up over their heads.
Like arrows, his Radius and Ulna had extended from his arm and out the palm of his hand. Holding them like blades he lashed down, cutting deep into the men, from the first mans shoulder to the second mans hip. Literally separating their torsos. Whipping around, he slammed his shoulder into another man. Then letting his Humerus shoot up and pierce straight through Shattering his spinal column and severing his spinal cord.
Pulling back his eyes once more scanned for the woman. Fixing his eyes on the house she was nearest to last time their eyes met, he slowly made his way to the house. Stopping at the groaning sound of a man, so close to death, the shadow of his reaper could be seen. The mans foot came down to meet his head. Gentle at first but quickly gained pressure. The man to weak to fight back, simply screamed in pain and terror.
In an instant his skull crushed with a gruesome sound. Blood and brain coating the ground before the man, slowly turned back towards the house and approached now more quickly. Every step closer he let the bone like substance consume more of his arms. Soon large claws. Spiked blades reaching out from his shoulders, The claws long enough to just barely skim along the ground.
He knocked down the door with a single kick, only to find the man standing in front of of his wife and kid. He stood in a fighting stance ready to defend them. "If you want them, you'll have to get past me." The tone in his voice was clearly showing his fear. "Well, you know what they say. The quickest way to your destination..." With that he charged forwards. The man through the first punch only to miss as the mystery man ducked. Before he had a change to react the cold bone claws had buried deep inside him. "Is a straight path."
With that the claws pulled apart. Tearing the man, quite literally, in half. His eyes them met the women huddled against the wall with her child held tightly in her arms. Nothing but the spine between them. Pulling back he gripped the spine of the man now standing dead and limp in front of him. Whipping him against wall next to the woman.
The young boy busting free from her arms and standing strong in front of his mother like a man. He tried hiding his fear as he spread his arms as if to hide her. But the tears running down his face showed he was scared shitless. With a single swing of his arm the boy was airborne. Tumbling through the air until his body collided against a wall. Limply falling to the ground as the puddle on the wall slowly followed.
A smug grin played the cold lips as he watched the sight. Slowly his head moved back to the women. Kneeling down the claws gripped her face forcing her to look at him. The Razor like claws caged around her chin, Yet held her delicately. His other retreating the bones. The smooth skin of his fingers running over her face and gently forcing open her eyes. Simply staring into them, until, she looked directly into his. Something about them, the motherly, natural look inside him once more ran waves of hidden emotions through his head.
The claw grew tighter cutting into her flesh as he once more fought for control over himself. Gasping He pressed his forehead against hers. His hand covering his mouth as he could feel blood running down his lip and chin. Instantly his hand shot from his mouth and gripped her hair. Pulling her head to the side before his teeth ran over her neck and sank in deep. She squirmed. Kicking and screaming as she clawed at his chest. Soon enough her body relaxed.
Moments after she seemed to have passed away he pulled back to meet her face once more. The same look no longer in her eyes. Though a dim shimmer of light remained. Reaching back down he bit again, the faint gasp could be heard before the loud rip and tear of her flesh. Pulling back as blood gushed from her jugular vein. Gripping her head and twisting he let her body fall limp with a broken neck and a dress of blood.
Pulling back he slowly stood. Looking over the corpses before he arched forward, breathing heavily. With each breath a growl grew stronger. In an instant a loud roar emitted itself from his throat. Sending tremors on airwaves. Instantly the screams of the remaining could be heard as they knew it was time to flee.
Busting back through the door he let out another shriek as his shoulder blades grew, forming the bony fixtures of wings. His skin followed filling in the blanks. He leaped forth and took flight swooping down and being sure to take advantage of each moment.
A few more minutes had passed before the small village became nothing more then a bloody mess. The one man hovered above with the frequent flapping wings. Slowly lowering he stood their watching the blood run from the corpses. A dim laughter emitted from him. Quickly growing louder and more maniacal.
