Appearance: Jillian looks similar to almost any other patient of the Mortileu hospital in Scara Brae. She is dressed in a thin, loose patient’s gown. Luckily, the back of the gown can be tied shut, hiding a somewhat curvy figure. A pink band around her wrist marks her as a patient with a mental illness. Her eyes are hazel green. Having lived in the hospital for several years, she has become pale and her hair has turned a very dark shade of brown. The hair is long, falling to the middle of her back. Jillian generally keeps it clean and combed because she starts to get very agitated when she feels that she’s become dirty. Living off of ill-favored yet nutritious hospital food, she has become thin, though those watching over her make sure she remains healthy. She stands at 5’8” and weighs about 120 pounds.
History: Jillian was born to Edwin and Abigail Verna in a wealthy household. As the third child to be born into the family, her parents knew exactly how to raise a proper child in a prosperous community. Tutored and pampered from birth by servants and hired teachers, it became evident that she was an unusual child. She was completely unpredictable, sometimes acting kindly toward anyone, sometimes trying to harm anyone, and what seemed like any action in between.
Unable to cope with such a difficult burden, Jillian’s parents let her be taken to Mortileu hospital in Scara Brae, where a doctor named Milo Thurmond studied her symptoms. It didn’t take long before he declared her mentally insane due to a multiple personality disorder. He suggested that the girl be placed in his care at the hospital and Edwin Verna accepted. Wanting the best for his child, but unwilling to sacrifice his family’s livelihood for the girl’s sake, he paid the hospital handsomely to treat Jillian as tenderly as possible.
As Jillian grew older, her family came to see her less and less, until the annual visits obviously became a chore. Her brothers had long since moved and started their lives, while her parents lived lavish lives without worry or care for the child that failed to meet their high hopes. By the age of twenty-one, she hadn’t seen or heard from her family in almost two years. Her father’s money continued to supplement the hospital in order to benefit the lost daughter, possibly as a memento of guilt. Milo Thurmond, the man in charge of dealing with those funds however, lost interest in his project after creating a pill that could regulate her mind. Not bothering to let Jillian or her parents know that she could live a normal life, he has continued to use the free money coming in to fund other experimental drugs for other patients.

Jillian Verna- This is supposedly Jillian’s primary personality. While in this state of mind, she seems to be an average woman of her age, though she gets agitated rather easily due to being trapped inside the mental illness ward at Mortileu. It is possible that she has developed a mild case of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Before being kept at the hospital, she showed signs of a kind, playful girl. Somewhere, underneath the resentment, that kind heart still lives.
Abigail Verna- Abigail is a cowardly, paranoid person. She thinks everything and everyone is out to get her. The slightest odd noise in a background is enough to make her shiver with fear and she will always try to flee the scene of anything more frightening. Her teeth chatter often and she tends to speak in hurried, broken sentences. Having the same name as Jilian’s mother happened by chance and has nothing to do with who this personality is.
Elena Verna- Elena is cold-hearted and only thinks about herself. She does anything she can to advance her situation. Lies and theft are too common for her to remember any single occurrence and she would hardly hesitate to kill someone in the way of her goals. She is a cunning individual, and can manipulate a person’s way of thinking for her own benefit.
Tara Verna- Tara is greedy. Her eyes are on the constant lookout for any sort of luxurious item that she might get her hands on. When something catches her eye, the act of pocketing it is merely a shadow of a thought and often times she can go for several hours not realizing that she has stolen goods stored in her pockets. She doesn’t speak much since her mind is always focused on the next target of her sticky fingers.
Avery Verna- Avery is a nymphomaniac. She feels an unnatural and constant urge to have sex with anyone. Though she can be quite charming in this state of mind, her goal is blatantly obvious within the first few minutes of communicating with someone. This compulsion can direct her into some very dangerous situations, but this personality rarely takes over.
Kris Verna- Kris is extremely annoying. She is very energetic and can’t stay still for very long. On top of that, she talks nonstop, regardless of what situation she is in. An overall happy person, she seeks out the fun of everything and too often finds herself telling yet another joke of some sort.
Suicida- This personality is lethal to anyone, including Jillian. She feels absolutely no emotion except hatred, even toward herself. When under this personality, she will try to destroy as much as possible completely disregarding any consequences that might result afterwards. She never speaks, doesn’t eat and doesn’t sleep. If the possibility of pain or death becomes apparent, she won’t care. If the her victim is a month old child, she won’t care.

She refuses to let anyone fall prey to harm and will sacrifice herself for the “greater good.” The need to sacrifice herself is a rarity however, since she can easily find the smartest course of action in any circumstance.
