Appearance: Jason is what most would consider a handsome young man, not too pretty, but not that unappealing to the eyes either. Strong cheek bones and a well sloped forehead bring his stunningly green eyes out and his bright and happy smile adds to the affect. People used to say that he could walk into a suicide anonymous meeting and walk out ten minutes later with all the SA members in tow, happy as the day was warm. A lean upper body, toned and hardened by ten long, happy years of junior highschool, senior highschool and college varsity sports have given Jason an even greater appeal, especially once he removes his shirt. Strong legs and ankles finish off Jason's appealing handsomeness, which also coincidentally helped serve him throughout his football days.
Skill set: Aside from being a gifted athlete Jason possesses a unique ability with words, allowing him to practically 'paint a picture in the air for people to see what he is telling.' An uncommon trait in most men it has been traced back seventeen generations in the Sumnner family and it has been found that five percent, on average, of the males in the family possesses this unique ability. It has led to many Sumnner houses to be held with great esteem and social standing in many social and governmental circles around the world. The ability has become known as the E.E.L. or (Everyone Else Loses). (You can all thank Jason's great times seventeen grandfather for that one, the crack brain of the entire operation.) None-the-less, the Eel has served the Sumnner family for generations and it has been passed down now to Jason, and although he might not use if for the greatest of purposes, he has been known to paint quite the picture.

Effects: Projects a moving picture from the sound of Jason's voice. Think virtual reality. This ability effects people mentally only, it does not cause pain, just lays the foundation for whatever emotions that person(s) feel(s) about the picture being projected. If they inflict pain upon themselves, or dispel the effects of the ability, that's their problem.
Effects on User: The Ability can be used an unlimited amount of times a day, but only for limited amounts of time per usage. Projecting ones voice into a living picture is hard work and with his limited amount of practice, Jason can only project for approximately two minutes at a time before his throat becomes swollen. It takes about two hours for the swelling to recede.
Secondary/Passive Abilities: A natural athlete from birth, Jason has consistently out performed his peers in almost all forms and methods of athleticism. Blessed with a superb metabolism, Jason has been able to maintain a three percent body fat ratio for the majority of his life. This has left him toned and remarkably agile. Possessing a strength that many underestimate due to his size, Jason has been known to lift and throw objects weighing equal to or very slightly over his own body weight distances of upwards of four feet. His vertical jump from a standing position is forty two inches and his longest running long jump was twenty two feet, four inches. He is also proud to boast of a two hour fifteen minute marathon run time.
In addition to his exquisite athletic ability, Jason also possesses a natural talent for musical instrument use, as well as a beautiful musical voice. He uses both almost exclusively in conjunction with Eel but he has been known to just sing and play for the joy of it. He currently knows how to play the violin, six string guitar and trumpet. He currently only possesses the violin, but whenever the three are present together, he will usually play the guitar.

Brief History: Jason doesn't remember dying. In fact, he doesn't remember much at all of his past life, or the events preceding his arrival to Althanas, but he has been able to gleen together the following facts:
One, he was married. Happily, disastrous or whatever, he has no clue. The wedding band on his left hand was the only clue he could gather concerning the fact.
Two, he did in fact die. Of what he has no idea, but a brief encounter with what could only be described as 'a bright light at the end of an endless tunnel, a chorus of people, possibly angels, singing in the background and a great booming voice speaking a language he had never heard but understood completely' he was able to put the three together and surmise that he was dead and sent to this place for a reason beyond his current understanding and/or reasoning.
Three, he is suffering from a severe case of memory lose. It didn't take long for him to realize this. No matter how hard he concentrated he could not bring up the memories of his past, before he woke up.
Four, he was placed on this planet for a reason. It was the only way to explain away why he was there, alive for the most part (he still couldn't understand how he knew he had died, didn't remember it, but was somehow alive and breathing now).
Five, he could apparently play the violin. There was one strapped to his back and how he was able to identify it as a violin... well, he just filed that away to be solved at a later date.
Six, he was very hungry. The low rumble in his stomach told him as much and he decided that, for now at least, he would solve on his more immediate problems of hunger and thirst and deal with the other problems later. He looked up to the sky, found the sun and began walking towards it, hoping that he would eventually find someone along the way.
