Huntin' and Skinnin', Right from the Beginnin'

The halfling's dirty dreadlocks bounced rhythmically as he skipped through the bazaar. It was a busy day, but Ironhead did not have any problems with the crowds of people, who did their best to ignore the foul smelling ranger.

Not used to shopping, it took Ironhead a few minutes to locate the shop he was looking for - a knife specialist. He pushed his way through the front door, a small bell chiming and alerting the merchant behind the counter. Ironhead smiled wide, exposing his missing tooth, and the rest which were a rotting shade of tan.

“Ironhead is looking for the most sharpest, most brand-newest skinning knife you has. He needs it to be able to shear the hide off… just about anything, he does! Make him an offer for under a hundred gold pieces, and a sssale you’ll have.”

Leonard looked up from the short sword he was sharpening on the stone behind the counter. The bell chime always brought a smile to his face, because it meant customers, and possibly meant a sale. As he slowed the stone wheel, and set the short sword down on a small wooden table next to him, he stood up and greeted the halfling.

"Welcome to the Haven's Edge. The name's Leonard, and I'm guessin' yours must'n be's Ironhead," finishing the last words he looked the halfling up and down with a slow nod. "Well, hmm, let's be seein'. If'n your lookin' for the sharpest skinnin' knife, you'll's be wantin's Prevalida's, but you aint's be findin's it here's," he looked at Ironhead with a smirk.

"Ahh, I see's now. Yer lookin' for somethin' good but cheaps. Well, I've gots a deals for ya," Leonard moved over to a glass display case on the left side of the shop and pulled a decent-looking knife from inside it. "I be's sellin' this piece of works for 90 golds. It be's made of's Damascus, which be's good fer skinnin's, but keep's in mind's that for that there skinnin's you'll stills have to sharpens it once in a while's. Maybe next time's you's find muh friend's James down'n the ways. He can's enchants this here skinnin's knife to prevents dull'n's."

He handed the knife the Ironhead and nodded, "'n seein's how's I gots this here leather sheathe to go's with it's, I'll sells ya them boths fer 95 golds evens. Plus, I's be in a good mood's, so fer 5 golds more I'll be's sharpenin' this here knife three times after'n ya buys it fer free." Leonard flicked his fingers and mouthed numbers for a moment, "That be's 100 golds if'n's ya wants it, Ironhead."


((OOC: The skinning knife is made of Damascus and has a slight greyish hue to the blade. The handle is wrapped in a very basic cloth to ensure grip during skinning. The blade is sharp enough to skin most anything, except large scaled beasts or beasts with very VERY thick hides. The sheathe is basic leather, and is wearable on a belt or easily stuck into a pocket or in a sock/boot. And finally, the offer for the sharpening is good for three sharpenings after the first, and will need to be included in your profile/signature so future moderators will be aware of the "coupon".))
