Hi, I guess I am just one of the people Nevermore hooked onto this site. Just another unthinking role player right? Nah. You can refer to me as "Sicarius" though many have just called me "Dragon" in the past for my previous username and my role playing style.

I haven't been role playing for a very long time (not even a full year yet) but I enjoy writing and love getting into fights with others. Or at least that is what the people who have met me would say. And in those fights I am apparently as stubborn as a boar. The only person who has come close to beating me in a duel on a role playing site is Nevermore and we fought it to a standstill. Around four times in three and a half days.

But enough about me. I am curious exactly how this site works and was wondering if the members are as kind as they are elsewhere. Anyone wish to indulge me?`

Welcome to the site. It's good to have more people showing up. :p

As for the welcome from others, it'll be friendly, if not confusing and nonsense at times. We're a pretty laidback community of writers, though the standard can seem to be set pretty high at times. There are quite an ample number of people that are here to give you something to work against if you like to battle.

The site works in a pretty straight forward way. You make a character and a mod will come in and approve it, or ask for edits so that it will be equivalent to a level 0 character and then approve it. As soon as that is done, you are free to go forth and write IC'ly.

All threads written in character are judged by a moderator or admin, and you will get a score out of 100. Experience and gold are rewarded as a result, and when you hit certain milestones you'll be able to level up your character and make an updated profile... and continue on as you were.

We use liquid time on the site, so you can have as many threads as you want open at a time, but be careful not to burn yourself out with too many. It happens sometimes.
