This is not a joke. (http://6of3.com/)

How did--what the--how could I have not heard about this before now? I'm for once at a complete loss of words.

DISCUSS. BECAUSE I CAN'T.

It's pretty scummy to get another person to write for an established series, but by simply not reading said aberrant installment, the problem vanishes.

Besides, the best thing Adams ever wrote was Last Chance to See, and Hitchhiker's was best as a radio series.

Yeah, sorry. Douglas Adams is dead. That series is finished. Frankly, though I like it, I felt it was a little overwrought already.

I clicked, hoping to see it was something of Douglas Adams' that had been missed, and when I saw who was writing it my literary self died a little bit. I haven't enjoyed a single book that Eoin Colfer has written. Granted, I have only read a couple, but it's enough to know I will probably pretend this book doesn't exist.

Last Chance to See is an awesome book. I want to re-read it now.

I really can't see someone matching up to Adams fantastic style of intelligent stupidity. Worst part is this just reminds me of the Salmon of Doubt, near the back segments of a third Dirk Gently and such a wonderful work it was, that'll never be finished. Bollucks.

I find it despicable when series are restarted for the sake of squeezing more money out of them. HGttG was fantastically nonsensical, but I despised Artemis Fowl. Of course, as Relt said, the easiest way to go on living is to simply ignore its existence or treat it as fanon. :D

Yes, we can just call it fan-fiction and go about our business. This isn't the book we're looking for. Move along. Etc.
