Samuraii!
07-21-06, 05:43 PM
Name: Awewa Fudebi
Race: Dark Elf
Class: Samurai
Gender: Male
Age: 34
Height: 5’9
Weight: 188lbs
Hair Colour: Deep Black
Eye Colour: Silver
Appearance:
For an elf, Awewa is very small, but what he lacks in height, he makes up for in well-toned muscle. Yet, the thing that stands out most of this character is his is dark blue skin, more dark than any others that are seldom seen around these parts. His silver-shining eyes strike you in a way that makes you want to either run in fear, or stand on the spot, petrified. Long, deep-black hair falls down reaching just to his lower back, Awewa never thinks, or cares for that matter, to tie his hair up, yet he still keeps it straight and tidy.
From what looks like it used to be a samurai robe, is now dyed a dirty grey colour and stretched down to his feet to make a cloak. Something that you will notice when you look at the back of him is that he has hand-sown a deep black hood onto it to hide his face. Underneath the cloak, which you will rarely see, he wears a thick leather padded shirt, decorated with several deep indents. His sheath acts as a belt to hold his long, dark blue jeans that reach down just covering his dark grey boots.
Some broken pieces of armour, that are of no use now, are located underneath his cloak at his right forearm, his left Shin and a black iron gauntlet covering his left hand. All the pieces of armour were made out of steel, but are now rusty and broken and cracked except the gauntlet.
Personality:
People that actually see Awewa consider him to be dark and mysterious. They say he’s not talkative at all and keeps himself to himself. No one knows much about his personality, only the obvious things, but he really shown people what he is in a tavern one night. Some teenager thought it was fun to laugh and joke and actually even go up to him and push him around, Awewa thrusted his left gauntlet and choked the poor lad till he was 5 second away from dying. His violent act made people think a lot of things about him.
Weapons: His weapon is a Katana, but it is his own, no one else can wield it. He has named the katana ‘ Cursed Soul ‘. Both because of its appearance and what it been through. The blade itself is coloured Deep Black with a white-greyish aura emitting off it, while the whole handle is no different from a normal katana, yet coloured gold. Awewa would never sell this item for anything, as it is too precious to him. (Sword has the strength of steel, but will grow stronger as Awewa levels,) **Growth explained in skills**
Armour: His leather shirt. Iron Gauntlet. Broken Armour (wont protect much, has about 5% chance of blocking something, has a 70% chance it’ll break if it gets hit anyway)
Items: Moneybag.
Skills:
Sword growth: As Awewa grows he can imbue any type of metal that he can get into his sword to make its strength equal to that metal type.
Average Sword Skills: Awewa is skilled enough with his blade and knows how to fight when it comes to one.
Darkness Blast: He can only conjure this spell in dark areas or at night, it has more effect at night and will do more damage if it hits. This spell is both hurtful to the foe and Awewa. Once he’s conjured it from his left gauntlet, a huge wave of darkness shoots to the opponent and hopefully hits. If it does it would deal moderate damage, as in either a small cut, or at most several large bruises. After it has done its effect Awewa is tired out and cannot conjure it again (once per thread). It also affects the gauntlet in a way where a part of it bursts off.
In a cave or a dark area if its in the morning or afternoon the most damage it can do is cut them, if that doesn’t happen then it will tire them about for a few moments. Also he needs any protection on his hand to actually do this spell, the lowest protection is a leather glove.
History
Awewa was born and raised human on Althanas and was brought up in a very small village, which honoured the ways of the samurai. He learned the sword skills at a young age and learned the common language very quickly and spoke it fluently. The samurai was quickly recruited into a small army at the age of 17 to fight against some bandits who were pillaging the village, but what he didn’t know is who was leading them.
The leader was a very talented wizard name Forlion, who was once one of the most renowned magic users in the land. But very soon he started to study the dark side of magic, and lost his fame to order an army of horrible nasty bandits. (No offence to any bandit characters). Once they took out all the bandits they fought against the wizard, around three-quarters of the army were eliminated, Awewa had survived just barely. He and his fellow troops struck the wizards hard and nearly killed him. The last resort of the wizard was to turn all of them into something. Some were turned into dwarves; some were left human, but terribly mutated. Most were turned into elves. But the final few were turned into cursed dark elves. They were all individually scattered throughout Althanas.
Awewa doesn’t know about the others that survived, hopefully he’d find them someday, either alive, or dead.
