Ranger watched as the boy left the shop, smirking to himself as he sighed and let the feeling of wonder wash over him. It was always his place to find the best in another, the Thayne had done so with him in the past years and so too had he taken his time to practice the idealism. He turned to the woman, whom he had just opened his purse to and given up part of his savings. “It is a fine day to be spending, but a better one to be gaining. I’m interested in selling my goods and taking back the gold I have spent as well as quite a bit more, if that is fine with you?”

The dark elf removed a scroll and laid it out before the shopkeeper, scrawled across it was pristinely written common. The words were a list, all the items that Ranger had accrued in his time since leaving the lands of Alerar. The Thayne had willed him to continue on his quest towards prophetic learning, and his next step would be away from the Red Hand and towards destiny. His collection of items and weapons would not be needed.

“This is a list of the items I possess, currently being held outside in the back of one of the two wagons that are also both listed. The boy guarding them is doing so at my request, and with the promise of the other half of payment when I have finished here. Shall we conduct business? I would like to sell everything.”

The older lady raised her glasses from their place on her nose, "Well, sir, I'd need to examine the wagons and mules to determine their quality and value as I am not one to just accept one's word on conditions of animals or modes of transport. As for the weapons and ammunition, I think I do right around 3200 gold, taking into account degradation of the weapons and materials themselves over time and use."

She looked at the man for a moment longer, "If you wish to allow me to see the animals and the wagons, I am certain I can come to a fair value for them as well."

"Wear of time? Some of these items have had little more wear than resting on a shelf and gathering dust, such as the crossbow and the ammo for them, as well as the copper daggers. The plynt axes have only ever been used once, and that was in practice. I'm sure that more could be offered for them, but whatever you are comfortable with is acceptable. I know the Red Hand no longer has the powerful sway over the Bazaar."

Ranger sighed with a smile, letting times long since past dwindle away. He turned and beckoned to the shop-keep, waving her to follow him. Outside his mules were calm, still tethered to the empty wagons.

"As you can see, the wagons are a little scratched, but that should be common for anyone who puts them to use. The wood is still well maintained, I have been meticulous in its perfection. These mules are two years older than when I bought them, they were young and strong. They are still strong, but they are a year or so away from their prime. Also," Ranger reached up to the seat and pulled out a dagger. "I forgot that I had left this out here. It's a brand new prevalida dagger, average quality, never been used. I am unsure as to how much it is worth, but anything is better than what use it will be to me."

She followed him and observed the various items, the wagons, and the animals. Pausing a moment to do some math using her fingers and looking off to nowhere inparticular, she then nodded as he pulled out the dagger. After looking it over a moment or two she nodded again and pulled out a pencil and paper and jotted down some numbers.

"Well sir, I'm thinking for all of this, I can do right around a good 15,000 gold. That'd be including that there dagger and everything else including the weapons and the like. If you like we can step back inside the shop," she looked up at the sky for a moment, "as I think it might be getting ready to rain." She would let him make the decision, however, on both accounts.

EDIT: Sorry for the long delay, it didn't pop up in my new posts thingy a while back, and the other threads I had did. Sorry, sorry, sorry.
