I'll be taking a prevalida wand. I'll hammer out the finer details when Caden actually acquires it in-thread.

Thanks. :)

What does the wand do? Anything exactly? Or no details are known at this time?

I mean, a prevalida wand is a bit bigger than a prevalida dagger... so I'd like if you could specify what exactly it does, how big it is, and if it has some other material as a core, or anything else. If it's just a basic prevalida wand, I'd allow it at the reduction of 500 gold from your Exemplary Contributor rewards.

Well, if I'm gonna have to pay for it...

Then I guess I'll just take it up to eleven. :D

Frak the wand. I want a prevalida staff. Six feet in length, I'll hammer out the finer points of its appearance once Caden actually acquires it (which probably won't be for another three or four quests at a minimum). Serves as an all-purpose Staff of Power and, when necessary, a martial bo. Might incorporate a blade mount or something, but that would be added later (if ever). Same for another sockets, mounts, screws et al.

All of my EC reward money goes for it automatically, along with whatever's necessary from my existing funds.

Sorry, I thought I had gone through and gotten everything in here. Well, I'm going to just let you work on the thread you mentioned in order to get it, and when you're finished just respond in here with the link and the requested spoil, and I'll decide from that thread as to what to charge in all for the requested spoil.

Staff is currently in use. If not approved, it'll just get broken in the Raiaeran Boss Fight or in the thread following it. Whichever comes first.

Answer, please. D: I'll PM if I don't see something by tonight-ish.

What does the staff do? It doesn't say anything about what it does...

What does the staff do? It doesn't say anything about what it does...Basically whatever it is a six foot slab of prevalida covered in runes is supposed to! :D

...well, not really, no. I'm basically giving Caden a near-total revamp on my next character update. The staff will allow him to use spells at or (with prep time or Sorcery) up to one level above his usual level (maybe as much as two levels above using both prep and Sorcery). Since his repertoire is getting so wide, his skills are becoming so advanced, and every char update has him jumping 2 or 3 levels at once, I figure it's time to give him a decent (hopefully permanent) Scaling Fix and clarify how material components factor into his magic. Preferably without writing a 9 page Guide to Wizardry.

Alright, what I'm going to do is allow the staff. When the update is posted, I'll look over it and make sure that it's working the way my mind is currently thinking it does. We'll hash through the details to make sure that it's all on par.

Thanks for the cooperation.

Approved spoil.
