(This character is a tribute to one of our older, legendary players, Neosaim Hyakureiki. Since he is no longer around I couldn't get permission to use the Hyakureiki name directly from him. So I hope there isn't too much trouble with just using the name and the storyline ideas since I largely rped with him during that time period. Thank you very much)

~Name: Joaquim Hykureiki

~Title: Prodigy

~Age: 30/Immortal (Due to Android Positronic brain)

~Race: Golem Construct/Native of Dressed Fish Town in Corone

~Hair Color/Eye Color: Purple/Green

~Height/Weight: 5'6"

~Job Class: Adventurer/Scientist

~Description: Joaquim Hyakureiki is a humanoid of below average height. He originates from Dressed Fish Town in Corone. He has wild, spiky, purple hair and green vibrant eyes. He has copper tone skin. He can often be seen wearing overalls, a pair of worker gloves, boots, and the equipment of an Engineer. He often wears his favorite hat. It is a simple black cloth hat. None of his clothing are masterwork in nature. He is always carrying tools and is always seen tinkering on this or that invention.

~Personality Matrix: Made from a complex combination of Golem technology and human clock-work machinery, the Personality Matrix is the most advanced invention ever created on Althanas. Invented from combinations of Old-World technology that pre-dated the Demon's War, and the War of the Tap, war machines of the past used such advanced technology. Often "borrowed" from Off-Worlders, the technology was twisted due to Althanas native laws of physics and the existence of magic. The Personality Matrix was coined by a man named Rinklaud who once resided in Dressed Fish Town. Used to give non-biological organisms a rudimentary personality of sorts, the technology was devised as a way to make the perfect non-organic killing machine. Thus did man create the Golems of Dressed Fish Town. The early Golem models were not outfitted with the Personality Matrix but they still obtained a degree of self awareness anyway. This Personality Matrix is outfitted in all current generation Golem/Human hybrid models.

~History:

*Rinklaud's Personal Log, entry XXXX-

"The one called Lorenor has left our enclave once again. It seems that the subject has a wayward heart. Such a subject can not contribute directly to the long-term science of Althanas. We were able to extract a considerable sample of tissue and blood from our beloved Paladin. Analyzing the samples we've made a startling discovery. A resident nano-virus lurks within Lorenor's blood-stream. Lorenor's regenerative properties have long fascinated the enclave. We will reverse engineer the samples procured from Lorenor himself to engineer a suitable clone-warrior. Much controversy on this subject exists already within the enclave. I can not allow such trivial matters to affect the logical minds of my people. We must persevere in our research. The future of all Althanas now rest on our shoulders to develop an ultimate weapon to confront Xem'Zund and the Necromancer Morian. We have placed tracking nodes within Lorenor should the need ever arise that we must require his services against our Gods once more. End Entry."

~Rinklaud.

*Rinklaud's Personal Log, entry XXXX-

"The subject known as Neosaim Hyakureiki has vanished off the face of the planet. Often seen in Adventure Parties with the one known as Lorenor, Neosaim has proven an invaluable asset to the enclave. Further searching on this matter is required. I will ask permission from the rest of the enclave to seek Neosaim or his kin out."

~Rinklaud

*Rinklaud's Personal Log, entry XXXX-

"Lorenor has recently been discovered again. This time in the mysterious caverns known as Haidia. When approached by a scouting team of Golems, the subject in question reacting in a hostile fashion. It is believed by many that Undeath has its price on the mind. Lorenor's current condition is the subject of further controversy. Upon discovering the whereabouts of the enigmatic warrior, our Scouts proceeded to take samples. Samples of DNA matched the previous records in our databases. It was indeed Lorenor, at least some sort of a copy. Lorenor assisted us with a certain matter we had trouble with at the time. As always, the specimen was well rewarded with units of our technology. The tracking node placed within Lorenor was still active at the time of his most recent discovery."

Note: Quest can be read here (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=6461).

"It should be noted that during that particular venture, one of our own experiments within the enclave went Rogue. A considerable disasters, many Golems were terminated in the process of the Rogues' escape. All will remember the name of Number 5,325 for he was the Golem that rebelled against the enclave. Number 5,325 managed to convince several Golems to join his cause. Number 5,325 was an early enclave experiment designated to combine the nano-virus technology with that of the specimen known as Lorenor. The result was arguably our greatest failure and our greatest venture as well. Golem technology vastly differs from the technology of that is native in the Paladin's blood. It should be further noted that Number 5,325 developed an obsession with finding the Paladin at all costs. Even at the loss of many Golems' lives. Hundreds fell during the escape attempt by Number 5,325. However we were able to harness a great deal of data for future research during the ordeal."

*Rinklaud's Personal Log, Entry XXXX-

"Currently, our Scouts have kept a close eye on an interesting subject that lurks within Concordia Forest. Well two such subjects. Both of them seem to be Off-World races that have traveled from beyond the Gates of Sensibility. One of those races is of particular interest to us. The race call themselves Saenorakym Prime and live within a small settlement of about five hundred specimens. Each of the specimens boasts vast intellect and the capacity for invention. Invention on a mass scale. If left unchecked could tip the scales of Althanas history against her people. So far, the Saenorakym Prime have largely kept to their own agenda."

"Further compounding matters is the discovery of another Off-World race. This race seems to be much larger in size than the Saenorakym Prime. This race calls itself the Overmage and seem to hail from a legendary star only known as Ayenee. Little is known about the Overmage at the time of this writing. What is known is that they possess vast energetic manipulation powers. One such specimen has recently been sighted in Scara Brae. I call for further investigation into this matter."

~Rinklaud

I-Golems-Golems are actually not native to Althanas. They are a race of star-faring beings that landed on Althanas many ages before the Demon's War. Golems are a race of sentient non-organic life-forms. They have bodies constructed from various types of materials usually Iron or Steel, and in some cases, even rarer metals and materials are used for the chassis. Golems are assigned an Artificial Intelligence by the main Core of the Ark. After this, all Golems that are born in the Ark become self aware. Most of the Golems on Althanas have had their origins on the Ark of the Golems. The Ark is a floating airship of vastly advanced technology that hovers consistently high above Corone, but orbits Althanas freely. The ship never leaves Althanas' orbit for the inhabitants of the ship have made Althanas their home. Golems vary in configuration and life-style depending on their Job Class and assigned duties. Some Golems may handle multiple Job Classes, but most Golems are happy with their purpose given to them.

II-Hyakureiki-Neosaim Hyakureiki was an ancient hero that often assisted a warrior name Lorenor. Their battles against the arch-nemesis known as Rinklaud was legendary. Soon, Rinklaud changed sides from his original evil intentions to the side of the light. Neosaim and Lorenor were largely responsible for this event. Though at first Rinklaud could not be trusted, the scientist proved himself a superior intellectual time and time again, and a valuable asset to the enclave. Soon, he fused himself with the core consciousness of the Ark and Rinklaud became an Singular Consciousness within the Ark. To this day, Rinklaud leads the Ark. Hyakureiki's current whereabouts remain a mystery. However, the Hyakureiki Clan resides within Dressed Fish Town on Althanas. Their members are currently under careful watch by the Golems. The Golems and the Hyakureiki's share many scientific achievements and ideals. Neosaim is a broad part of that legacy.

III-The Prodigal Son-Thanks to the significant progress made with Number 5,325, the Golems of the Ark realized that fusion with humans was possible.

Making several attempts at cloning the technology that they were privy too, the Golems worked diligently to discover the secrets of reproducing life. After many failures and near-misses the Golems came across three brilliant scientists that assisted the man known as Rinklaud. Each of the scientists originated from one of the patron races that traveled from the stars. One was a Saenorakym Prime, another was an Overmage, and the last was a human that heralded from Salvar. The man was a brilliant magus from Knife's Edge. The three worked together with Rinklaud to discover the secrets of Immortality. Showing the humans the technology of the Ark, the humans worked alongside the Golems to learn all they could. When it was discovered that Lorenor's blood possessed the key, new experiments began. Various embryos were taken from human, and other races, wombs. These embryos were subjected to often cruel experimentation by the six parties. Golems, Rinklaud, Overmage, Salvarn, and Saenorakym Prime. Thus, the legendary circle of six was forged. The sixth man was a brilliant inventor from the Clan of Hyakureiki.

With this dark fellowship, the enclave worked directly to use the resources that were available. The nano-virus within Lorenor's bloodstream had the mysterious property of self-replication. Combining the DNA with samples from a living fetus seemed the right course to follow. Soon, after many trials, an organic construct was grown. This organic construct was a mesh of clock-work parts and living flesh. Effectively the 10,000th subject, or so, the single unit was a perfect harmony of inorganics and organics. This subject was adopted by the man of the Hyakureiki clan who had a wife that was barren and could bare no children. Representing the future of Althanas, the Golem-Construct was named Joaquim Hyakureiki by his Father. After samples of Joaquim were taken when he was just a few months old, the enclave decided to monitor the specimen closely. Each of the contributing races to the greatest work in Althanas history left their mark on Joaquim Hyakureiki. Growing up quickly, Joaquim was raised as his Father's son. Joaquim ended up taking up the mantle of his Father and showed a great interest in the scientific arts.

Joaquim's human Father was a Hyakureiki name Josephitus Hyakureiki.

Joaquim's human Mother was a woman named Rozalin Hyakureiki.

The family lived their lives in Dressed Fish Town.

~Skill Sheet:

1-Engineer Machine-At will, Joaquim Hyakureiki may combine various parts together to construct all sorts of interesting machines. These machines are currently clock-work in nature. Joaquim must Research purposes of machines in order to construct them. For the time being, Joaquim focuses on building Weapons of Wars. (Such as Siege Devices and other machines of that nature) Once Joaquim is focusing on a Engineering feat, the Golem Construct can not perform any other actions. He must complete the current construction project before he can construct any other project. Currently, Joaquim can only use basic woods, metals, and parts to construct machines. For Average quality machines, Joaquim must concentrate on the task at hand. He can only build Average quality items that are made of Iron, Steel, and anything lower than the two. (Such as Brass, etc) He cannot Engineer an Item during battle. Items constructed in this fashion CAN be sold for profit. Materials Iron and below are Above Average in Skill level.

Joaquim knows how to use the Tools necessary for an Engineering Job. He also knows how to Maintain and upkeep the Items he constructs. Note: Outlandish Items (Such as a airship) requires moderator approval.

Edits-Recommended Edits were placed on the skill.

2-Golem Endurance-Due to bionic parts and the hardships of Engineering, Joaquim was built tough. He can Endure the stress of long physical labor for many hours, sometimes days on end. Joaquim has Two Times the normal Endurance of a human being. The price? Joaquim's bionic parts must regularly be maintained and upgraded. When not working on an Engineering Job, Joaquim is busily upgrading and repairing himself. Hitting Joaquim's body is the equivalent of punching a slab of thick clay.

3-Peripheral Senses-Due to his engineered eyes and other sensory output organs, Joaquim has enhanced senses. His senses allow him to sense things within a certain radius. He can clearly sense things within a radius of about Eight Feet. However, it should be noted that he can see sharply for several yards. (To be approved by a mod) His engineered eyes allow Joaquim to have Night Vision.

5-Golem Intellect-Due to his positronic brain, Joaquim has developed incredible Intellect. This allows Joaquim to learn at an accelerated rate. Joaquim can learn things at about One.Five Times faster than most normal humans. Also, he can recollect and recall data at that rate as well.

~Inventory:
1(x) Tool Kit, 1(x) Repair Kit, 1(x) Engineer's Uniform

Note: Currently, Joaquim does not have any weapons except for his fists.

~Racial Weaknesses:

Engineering :: Please change it so that you can only make average quality items from iron or steel for now, and above average quality with lower quality metals/woods.

Golem Endurance :: I'd like for you to reduce the endurance to 2x average, and add in something for a weakness other than the ambiguity of "must be repaired constantly". That doesn't really equate to a weakness relative to increased endurance. Maybe something like decreased speed or agility to balance it out.

Also, I can't allow masterwork iron at level 0. Start out with clay and the light. A thick clay wall is still hard to punch through, but can crack and splinter with repeated blows and eventually the continuity of the material can break apart completely. That would be much more fair for the current level, and for those of equal or close level to you when/if you battle.

Peripheral senses :: Please remove the heat vision for now, "clearly" see anything within 8 feet is quite a skill since a lot of people use stealth abilities that rely on the person not to be able to see them. That cancels out those abilities, though you should be very careful about that.

Strenght/Intellect :: One of these can remain, and whichever one you chose to keep should be lowered to 1.5x average.

Edits amended.

I picked Intellect over Strength for the time being. I'll get Strength at a later level. That cool? And I lowered Endurance to Clay.

I'm going to assume that One.Five times means 1.5x, and wasn't a typo with Five added in there to take place of the One, and you just didn't take out the one. Haha.

Approved.
