Hey, you were in the ToC right? I think I remember seeing you there at least. :p

If you would like some help with what to do and how to get everything up, feel free to PM someone, or of course you can ask questions here as you did. Haha. First things first, you should make a profile that you can use on Althanas, since those made in the ToC can't be used for the general site.

Check out the Realm of Greeting and the profiles in there and that should help you get a good idea of what to do for a new level 0 character on the site!

Most of our new players find it fun to start either on The Peaceful Promenade or in Scara Brae, but you can start out in any of the regions. I know Logan has an open thread for new players in Scara Brae right now that I know he'd love to have you join. You can also check the Role Player's Corner for any recruitment threads and see who has an idea you might be interested in. If you don't see one that tickles your fancy, but you have an idea or two of your own, you can also start your own recruitment. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them - we're here to help!

You need a profile before you can write though. So, get that profile up first so I can approve it and get you into Althanas, and then you can start writing on the site. The thread you posted in, by Logan, you shouldn't post in quite yet.

Lets get that profile done first, and then you can jump right back into that.

The ToC thingy was a special event that allowed lower-level characters and new characters a boosted level for the the duration of the event. After the event, old characters returned to their original level (or whatever their level worked out to be when one added the EXP they gained during the event), and new characters were asked to create a starter (plus, again, any EXP they gained during the event) profile.

Making a character profile is easy! You simply follow these guidelines (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=1888), and post it in the Realm of Greeting (http://www.althanas.com/world/forumdisplay.php?f=7). There, one of the helpful RoG mods will either approve you, or point out anything that they see wrong with the profile, and help you fix the discrepancies.
