Just like the title says, we want to know how often you post In Character?

If it's only rarely, why? What keeps you from posting more often? What should we change for you to post more frequently?

About once weekly when actually RPing. Sometimes I can hammer out 10 posts a day during solos.

Much like Caden, I find I can only manage a post with others every few days or so, but if I have a story to write I can finish it in a day.

Whenever I have time. Once or twice every other week. Maybe. School, military, etc. get into the mix and Althanas gets shoved out of the way. Nothing really to be done about it other then to try to survive the rest of the semester. =P

I've found that more recently I've found a renewed vigor for posting and my IC post count is significantly higher than previous months. There was a period where I would post five to six IC posts a day, but that has definitely slowed.

I can spit one or two out a day if I have something that really interests me. I don't think it's the site, so much as I've just played Logan for so long now that I had run into a wall with him. Thanks to various people and their efforts, I've found a renewed passion to play Logan as Logan again, and it's been fun thus far.

So for me, it was more cooperation, and I think realizing that I personally need less framework in my storylines. Somebody posted a poll or asked a question recently about set plotlines or coming up with a general idea and letting the character dictate the movement of the plot. For me, the latter is the way I find the most flow and general enjoyment in how things play out.

I just posted my first post after four months... ;).

Before that I usually posted around once a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less. My posting activity is mainly dependent on how bussy I am and what type of thread I am active in. At the moment it's only a solo so I have no real responsibilities. When I am writing a thread together with somebody else I force myself to post at least once a week.

Because English is my second and not my first language I take quite a while before I finish even a short post. I constantly have a good online dictionary active to translate/explain certain words or to advice the thesaurus, so even one paragraph takes a lot to turn it into a fluid English piece of text.

About once a week. I just don't have the energy to manage anything else.

I noticed you hadn't been posting as much GH, and it saddened me.

Scary huh?

2-3 times per week. I usually only have the time to throw down on the weekends, mostly. I was on the other side of the world this past week (Tokyo to be exact) and I thought I'd manage given my job only takes up three to four hours in the day, but damn was there alot I had to see.

Anyways, I'm not sure there's much anyone can do about the frequency of posting. The only thing I can think of is influencing the players to post with brevity in mind, but that would probably lower the quality of the site's writing. I know that it takes me as long as it does to type a response up because I want it to be a good read, and I have a feeling that every post needs to be at a cretain minimum length.

I used to post ICly in the "More than 5 times per week" category, but that was back more than a year ago now. These days I hardly post at all, although the Magus Cup has helped to boost my interest in getting back into the swing of things a little. Time will tell if I can redirect that energy from the tournament into getting some projects I've got planned for the FQ off the ground, or if I'll just lapse back into lurking once it's over...

I post daily. A few times a day if I possibly can which is most of the time. I have no life. Some of us on the site no why. Anyway, I love Althanas and I'm just glad to be a small part of it.
