A sovereign island nation rested somewhere off the coast of Corone. Similar to Akashima, Ruby had its own history and customs. Once there was a legend in Ruby. A legend of two Brothers locked in conflict for the throne of Ruby. One was a man named Typhon. The other was a man named Lagoon. Both were members of a long line of noblemen and knights called the Dixeon Clan. The royal bloodlines ran through their bodies making them powerful but they were both opposite of one another. Born of the same parents, the two developed a sibling rivalry from early youth on. A hatred was born between the two of them as they struggled to obtain the throne that either felt was rightfully theirs.

Typhon, was a strong man who ruled with an iron fist. Thinking himself mightier than the wrath of Xem'Zund himself, Typhon had the blood of the Forgotten Ones running through his veins. Typhon was a man who believed in the Order of the Thayne. The Thayne Cult was the national religion in Ruby. And all of its citizens followed one Thayne or another. Typhon himself followed the All-Thayne[/i] of antiquity hoping to return Althanas to its old glory days. Standing at impressive height, Typhon stood at a height of approximately six feet and three inches. He was taller than his brother. He had golden brown eyes, filled with a rage, jet-black hair that was tied into dreadlocks, and copper flesh tone. He had many scars on his body from the countless campaigns he'd fought and won in his life. Typhon had a strength that stemmed from the very depths of The Pyre.

Then there was Lagoon. Lagoon was the exact polar opposite of Typhon. As an intellectual man, Lagoon fancied technology and strategy to brute force. Looking somewhat similar to his brother, Lagoon had a shaved head and tribal markings on his body to replace Typhon's scars. Lagoon also brown eyes but they were darker and filled with an undying intellect and gathered curiosity. Typhon was a harsh, powerful man, Lagoon was a kind and gentle soul. He only took up arms when all forms of diplomacy were utterly exhausted. In other words, Lagoon only fought in self-defense. Lagoon also worshipped the Thaynehood, he followed a Thayne by the name of [b]Khal'jaren, The Sage. The Cult of the Thayne had a popular stronghold in Ruby. It was the national religion. Lagoon was the older Brother of the two and he was destined to rule.

However, Typhon's hatred of Lagoon soon became apparent at an early age.

Typhon waged a campaign to dethrone Lagoon from the seat of power.

And that is what the historians would tell you about Ruby. A cruel Emperor stood on the seat of power whilst the true heir to the throne was exiled from the Empire living in the wild lands of Ruby. Typhon's lust for power never ended and he currently sought to expand his Empire. His eyes were set on conquering Radasanth...

Typhon sat on the throne as he listened to the flow of Elemental Manna. The power was ripe in the air and it flowed from Typhon and through Typhon. Several people dressed in different styles of clothing and armor were visible in Typhon's Court. A man walked up towards Typhon who did not share the same resemblance as the natives of Ruby's. That man was Sabatykos' Father, Malus Maelstrom. He stood at a height of approximately six feet, weighed around two hundred pounds, had sky blue eyes and jet black wild hair. He had an inventor's physique with large arms, hands, and brilliantly shining eyes. Eyes that were exposed to the air of technology. Malus walked with a visible limp. He was a Master Inventor and his ilk were well known throughout the lands of Althanas.

Malus was dressed in full Inventor's attire. He limped over to Emperor Typhon's person and bowed down before the ruler of Ruby. Bowing alongside him was Sabatykos Maelstrom, Apprentice of Malus Maelstrom and his son. Malus and Sabatykos waited until Typhon gave the word.

"Arise my servants."

And they did. Malus was deeply respectful of Emperor Typhon's power.

Sabatykos simply obeyed whatever his Father told him to do.

Sabatykos observed the chamber for a moment. It was Ruby architectural design with many pillars and columns holding up the high, robust ceiling. Chandeliers were visible hanging up high and giving off a magical glow. On the ground level, there were glow-orbs that gave off their warm glow as well. Each glow orb was connected to a holder. Sentinels, guards of Typhon, were visible standing stiff as statues and leaning against walls. People watched Emperor Typhon in the Court as they went about their various duties. Sabatykos thought it all disgusting. The worship of a single man as a would-be Deity. The young apprentice did not like seeing his Father bowing down to the man. When they were both ordered to stand, Sabatykos stood alongside his Father whilst they waited for Typhon to address them.

Petty politics. I hate this world. But I know we must deal with it to get high-paying jobs. Father, why must you bow down to this man? Sabatykos thought to himself.

Typhon addressed them.

"My precious Men of the Atom." Typhon began. "How goes the progress for the Special Weapon?" Typhon asked.

It was Malus who responded. Sabatykos had no authority to speak before the Emperor unless he was directly addressed.

Sabatykos remained quiet while his Father spoke. His eyes went to the scene before him. Typhon had two young girls, in their late teens, giving him fellatio. The girls were naked except for extravagant jewelry that they had on. Two other older women were on either side of the throne feeding Typhon fruit and poultry. One served him drinks. When Typhon took bites of food, he paused his speaking.

"The Project is proceeding as planned. The Machine you would have us construct is nearly operative. Soon we will have the location of the Ancient Treasure. When that is complete you will have dominion over all. Even the wrath of Xem'Zund himself."

"Good. Inform me when the Machine is complete. When it is ready I will send you and a group of others to retrieve the Ancient Treasure. Once that is done, the Machine will be ready. And all will move in the favor of Emperor Typhon." Typhon said and continued. "You two, shall be handsomely rewarded." Typhon said calmly. "Go now my servants. And complete the Weapon that we might conquer Althanas."

And so Malus and Sabatykos bowed deeply to Typhon. Then they both turned and walked out of the Court.
