Hey, here's my introduction thread. Um, this isn't my first time here however, but it has been over a couple years since I left. I believe if anybody were to remember me, it'd have been while I played Rokusho Wulfenbraz (a long-lost thread of that guy losing an epic battle can be found here (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=7866)).

A lot has changed in that time. I'm a third year in college now and have written several pieces over the last year, also while trying to work on a Journalism degree. I don't really enjoy Journalism, but it's just something that I can apply my passion for writing to that also makes money because, well, in the land of Today it seems money is needed for anything and everything.

So who's played Dragon Age: Origins? Pretty badass game if I don't say so myself. I can honestly say I lost about a week of sun and exercise playing that game when it was released.

Welcome back. The name sounds familiar, which indicates I probably skimmed over something you posted before.

As for Dragon Age: Origins, I haven't picked it up myself...yet. I will. I have vowed such to myself. Glad to hear it's as good as I was hoping.

Again, welcome back. If you need anything, let us know.

Meee, I be playin', or rather, I've played through with a Human Magi and have just started over as a Dhalish Rogue, jack of all trade skill type who's going to be morally good with a hint of vaguery, i.e - anything to sleep with Zevran :D

Oh, and welcome to Althanas :D

Hey thanks guys. Does Witchblade still skulk around these parts? Would be great to catch up with that hag. Anyone else I was pals with here that would remember me should hit me up too; I would love to reminisce.

Zev is cool. I prefer my party of a human blood mage/spirit healer, a Templar/Berserker Alistair, Shale, and a masterful Bard Leilana. I whoop everything with that build.

Her whip still cracks around these forums from time to time, yes. It's hard to catch her though.

Aw, that's disappointing. Not unexpected, however. I'm just glad to see the place still brimming with bright writers. That always made my day.

But I will say, that someone who isn't a moderator better give me a Welcome Back before I bust some damn heads. The mods are obligated to do such to make new people feel warm and welcome, like parents always being obligated to tell their children they're adorable even though they're really not. Heh.

I look forward to writing here again. Have to make a person to play now...

Have to make a person to play now...

Well, what are you waiting for? Did you need me to fetch "The Whip of Encouragement" from yon "Dungeon of Dark and Sadistic Tortures"?

BTW, Welcome.

I didn't get my invitation. I didn't get it. I didn't get it!

Speaking of this, and excusing my double post, you'll find that my character's profile has now been prominently posted for review.

Hope you all like him.

And no, I don't do so because I'm obligated to. I actually do it because I'm excited to see some infusion of new, or at least refreshed, talent. We appreciate, and I know I'm not just speaking for myself here, every member more than they probably ever realize.

Without our members, dedicated and committed as they are, this site would be nothing. So yes, you are appreciated. We look forward to, with great anticipation mind you, what you bring to the table.

So get to writin'! 'r else!

No, don't worry, I know that. It's just always nice to see these members you speak of come welcome me themselves. :P

I will start... As soon as Razeki is approved. I'm starting out with a solo however, it's always been my thing to sort of introduce new characters to the world of Althanas through a solo. Maybe I'll try the Dajas Pagoda in the meantime, but nothing too serious yet. Not until my character's feet get a little wet.

Well, if you'd like a partner to run a thread with, let me know. We can work out some general ideas for something.

Aww, and here I was hopping you were gonna go for a citadel battle, I was gonna take you up on one if you were.

Perhaps I will. Perhaps I will...

I'll throw myself in here as well, I'm fairly prolific, although saying that quality can't be assured; I've plenty of characters for all occasions, and don't use Americanisations ;)

Where are the RoG staff these days? I'm not complaining, I just remember a time when my pending character would be reviewed and commented on within a day.

Though I suppose that because we're currently nearing the end of college semesters, people would be swamped. I myself am boarded up in my place trying to get crap done in a timely manner (though I still don't most of the time, I'm a crazy procrastinator).

Edit: Nevermind, I'm glad of this situation. I realized I wanted to make small amends to my character profile just now.

So what are peoples' plans for Christmas? It's still a ways away, but you gotta be thinking something. I know I am.

I like your character Duffy. I think our two guys would get along gloriously. Also read your solo in Scara Brae, the one post. Keep it up.

I forgot I started that, lol; I also play Abhorrash the Red, Cydnar Yrene, Ruby La Roux and recently Jennifer Oakley, if any of them catch your fancy - I seem to writing better with Cydnar and Abhorrash, probably because I've done Duffy to death lol.

Looking forwards to writing with you, whatever happens :D

@: RoG, that'd be Logan and Task, at the minute at least. Give it 7 days tops then pm one of them with a friendly question, I'm sure they'll only be too glad to help.

I did happen to read Abhorrash's solo as well. That was you? Kudos, man. Yeah, we can do something. Send me a pm or somewhat.
