Name: Dovasary Arundiel (Dove)
Age: 16
Race: Human
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Green
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 110 lbs.
Personality: She's haughty to those below her station in society, but her charm and elegance in court has won her friendships with many influential people in the governent. She's clever and does well in her lessons, so Dove is condescending to those who she deems stupid.
Appearance: Average height, slim, pretty. Has very expressive eyes. She is usually wearing a dress with long sleeves, even in hot seasons because of a knife she carries that would look incrminating to her peers and lead to alienation. Her hair is long and wavy.
History: Dove is the daughter of the High Baron of Corone, Sivien Arundiel. He had been on close terms with the royalty of Corone for many years, so it came as no surprise when Dove's father was chosen by the Royal Family to take up the post of High Baron six years after Dove's birth.
She was educated more thoroughly on diplomacy and etiquette at court after the appointment. Otherwise, she grew up as most young noblewomen do, learning sewing, embroidery, how to read and write, and basic math.
As the daughter of the High Baron, whose job it was to dictate the minor issues within the republic, she travelled alot with her father and so met many influential citizens of Corone, quickly winning them over and forming friendships with them. Because of this, she and her father are one of the most favoured families by the bureucracy in Corone.
However, at age 16, she was kidnapped during travel on the South Road and while it was assumed at the time that she was to be a hostage for a ransom demand, no such demand came to Sivien, her father. Instead, after a week of waiting and worrying from all those people Dove had charmed to support her father's decisions should the need arise, Dove was deposited back home, completely unharmed.
The only thing about her that had changed was a brand on her arm that represented a victim of one of the largest organized crime syndicates in Corone. The question was: how could anyone be marked a victim by them and not be dead?
Skills: Dove has an almost uncanny ability to convince others to accept her way or idea. It is whispered by the servants at Arundiel Estate that she's a witch, though the truth is much less vague: Dove has limited psychic abilities that let her suggest something in someone's mind and then let it grow subtly until her target thinks it was their idea all along. This only works on most minds, and eye contact greatly helps her in implanting the thought. Anyone with average skill in magic could guard their mind if they knew what to guard it from.
Equipment: She has a trinket resting on her forehead from her mother that helps her channel her pyschic abilities. Without this, any power she has is useless. The trinket is turquoise gemstone set in silver that hangs down on two silver chains.
She also carries around a small steel knife that she can hide in her sleeve. Her proficiency is laughable, but she can hold her own until help can arrive.
Speaking of help: On most trips, Dove is accompanied by a pair of guards who are incredibly loyal to her and are in the Scarlet Brigade of Corone.
