Updates shall be done in this color. Regal will show more talents than in his previous registration thread due to the fact I have never updated him until now. So this should reflect a level 2 profile.

The Level 0 Profile. (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=177)

Name: Regal Burnswidth
Age: 27
Eyes: A determined dark brown
Hair: Snow White with gray lines of Insanity
Build: Athletically Toned
Weight: 190 lbs
Height: 6’1

Appearance: Regal wears a torn and a dark storm gray jacket, with a torn Vlince Blood Red shirt and black denim pair of fighting pants(loose at the bottom, but tight around the waist.)

Personality: Regal is eccentric to be put bluntly. He is a rude, egotistical swordsman with a conflicted view on the morality of right and wrong. Those who look in his eyes see a maddening presence. He is not the most vile, he is the not most insane, and he surely isn’t the most well known fighter in all of Althanas, but in his twisted brain, no man is better than he. At times Regal will be fighting only two or three people, but in his head he sees fifteen, no…seventeen, no one hundred…

History:
Regal Burnswidth began life as a child of a noble fighter who owned a dojo in a small mountain village. He had everything he could ever want for in life, love, a family, schooling. Yet a tragedy befell his home, a tragedy known as Tenacity…

Tenacity was a special katana, created by the deific artificer Lazarus. It’s purpose was to create a weapon that would rival another one of his creations, the Zantetsuken. This project eventually failed, as the bound essence of a greater demon known as the Sword Demon clouded and destroyed the minds of those who wielded the blade. Lazarus discarded the blade in the town Regal lived, and one day his hand touched the hilt, only to find a demon’s hand touching it across from him.

This demon threatened Regal’s life, spat at him and cursed him. Regal took the blade and fought off some of the dojo’s guards, killing them thanks to the demon’s influence. Confused as to what he did, the demon encouraged Regal to kill more, since he didn’t know if what he had down was right or wrong.

Regal had killed his father, his mother, his friends, his village, even bandits who had timed their attack poorly; All to the gentle whisperings of the Sword Demon. At last Regal had lost his mind. He couldn’t tell if killing was right or wrong as the demon howled in laughter to him. He said that nothing could stand before him. Nothing at all could stand before the Sword Demon and he would take this runts life.

Regal however made a deal with the demon. If Regal could show the Sword Demon a fighter worth his time, someone to fulfill him, than the demon had to leave his body forever. Laughing the Sword Demon inquired as to who that could be. Regal only responded with a child’s innocence the title of a man in his favorite comic book. The Saint of Swords.

This spurred Regal to search out the man who was the Saint of Swords. He eventually fought to earn money, killing those in his way as he searched forever to find this man. At long last he was given an invitation by the Saint of Swords to his island to fight him for the right to be the Saint of Swords. Regal traveled there, only to learn that he was far to late. A man named Karel Hector Raven had earned the title from the previous Saint of Swords, and he left to go home. Regal fumed with anger and the demon fumed as well. His hero who would save him was avoiding him. This eventually made Regal bitter with hatred.

Filled with resentment to his so called hero, Regal Burnswidth traveled the land with a new vigor. He no longer was searching for Karel Raven to free him, he was searching for him to defeat him, strip him of his title and be the real Saint of Swords. One that the world could be proud of. This further warped and twisted Regal’s mind, skewing the lines of Right and Wrong. He began to show no mercy to brigands, no pity to those who begged for him to stay his blade. Soon he began to mimic the actions the Sword Demon wanted him to perform on his own accord without the gentle pushing of the Sword Demon.

Regal eventually made upon a town, challenging for the right to be the prize fighting champion. Instead he was kicked out, laughed at and he was alone. A woman by the name Tracy stumbled upon him and took him to her home. There she showed Regal how to love, how to be cared for, and he in turn cared and fell in love with her. He started to forget the title Saint of Swords and the name Karel Raven, and he smiled at this.

Eventually Tracy looked into his past, learning about the Sword Demon and what Regal had done. She asked him to leave, and Regal felt alone. He vowed to get her back, much to the Sword Demon’s lament. He learned she was a royal handmaiden, and he snuck into the castle to find her in the royal bed chambers. He told her how he felt, promised her he could change, and she believed him, whispering her love in his ear as they made love on the bed.

The royal queen and princess both stumbled upon them, and the Sword Demon had enough of Regal’s inhibitions. He used his demonic tricks to convince the two royal family members to join them in an orgy, and he forced Regal to do his whim. Eventually, Tracy snapped out of the Demon’s spell, and screamed at how wrong this was. She screamed at Regal, and renounced her love for him. Regal, unaware the demon was in control, took the hilt of his sword and slammed it into the side of her head.

She fell upon the ground, blood pooling out the side of her head as she lay dead. The princess had checked upon her, and screamed out for the guards as she found the hand maiden dead. The Sword Demon laughed, giving Regal control again.

Regal didn’t know that the demon controlled him, thinking he was the one in charge. This final act had destroyed his mental ability to process the differences between right and wrong. Regal no longer saw the black and white of morality and he gave into his own animalistic instincts when forced to choose a path of right or wrong.

He had fought his way out of the castle, killing several guards on the way, but in his warped mind he was fighting thousands of soldiers. It was the king who called them off, but not because Regal was killing all his good men, but rather a serious issue was demanding the guard to turn and leave the sword demon be.

Regal became the Demon of Swords that day. The antithesis to the Saint of Swords. He addressed himself as such, making boisterous claims some true and others made up. He didn’t care, they were all true in his mind.

One day he stumbled upon a man named Troy Priam, a soul who had lost the will to live, but gave himself the dignity to die with sword in hand. Regal wanted to fight this man, test his blade against him, but Troy stubbornly refused. Regal had later learned Troy had found a reason to live, to find his sister Rebecca. The two traveled together for nearly three years, never admitting the two had a growing friendship. Regal’s views of right and wrong slowly and painfully started to resurface, and the distant memory of why he searched for Karel Raven returned.

It was his love for Troy that made Regal realize he wanted to be free of the Sword Demon forever. Yet his mind was far to gone to realize the way to do this without shedding blood. In his own head, the only way to be free of the Demon was to be the Saint of Swords, purging away all his hate as he became a paragon of good.

He had at last found Karel Raven, who was engaged to Troy’s sister. He was torn between choosing his friend’s sanity or being free from the demon. He couldn’t think of anything to save himself from the choice, so he reverted back to the way he always thought. The winner was always right. The loser was always wrong. He challenged Karel to a fight, and used Troy’s sister to force him to accept.

He fought Karel Raven, and just at the pinnacle point of victory, he noticed the attack he was going to employ would have killed Rebecca. Right or Wrong? That was his dilemma as he glared to Karel Raven. Was it right to defeat him?

Regal pulled the attack back, sparring her life and letting himself be killed. Nobody save Troy knew the choice Regal made. He passed on, promising Troy he would be alright and that at long last he was finally fulfilled.

Only Troy knew he was lying through his teeth.

He went to Hadia, to hell, and awoken with no memories of who he was. He met a small lesser demon by the name Selina who traveled with him to see if he would die. He approached the Sword Demon after many trials, and the two fought savagely. It wasn’t until Regal remembered who he was and why he did the things he did that he was able to find the power to kill the Sword Demon.

In killing the Sword Demon, Regal became the Demon of Swords of Hadia, and he walks forever towards a rift searching for the one that will fulfill him.

Skills: Blood Craze - Once per thread Regal can take a few hits without noticing it. Currently at this level, Regal can ignore up to five deep cuts, and completely ignore any lacerations (Shallow cuts) upon his skin so long as they aren‘t at a joint. However direct stabs still affect him fully, no matter how crazed he is.

Dumb Luck - Not a skill...just a creative way of getting out of the most drastic situations.

Horrible math skills and bad eye sight: During any battle Regal may "see" more enemies than their really is. IE there are two guards...but Regal sees twelve...no fifteen...no sixty....

Swords: Regal is considered an Expert in swords. (Above those who are above average, but not legendary.)

Dance Macabre: Regal has a unique fighting style that is split up into multiple styles of attacking and defending. Each dance loops into another one, but some steps in the dance can’t switch into another. If the dance ends Regal must spend a post getting back into the flow of the dance.

Storm of Blades: Regal loses all inhibitions of defense as he violently surges forward and strikes the foe multiple times. His arms move at 2x the speed of a normal human but the power of the strikes are only .25 the strength they would be. Regal takes twice as much damage while in this state.

Tempest Blade Strike: Regal can once per battle or twice per thread focus all his energy into his blade increasing the impact of the blow. He moves at the rate of an average human, but his strikes are 2x as strong. This step is hard to remain in and he must transfer out of the step and end the dance. This makes Regal’s muscles sore and his strikes are at .5 strength, and he moves at .75 speed and agility.

Shadow’s Mist: Regal can go into a reverse state of Storm of Blades. Instead of attacking furiously, he defends quickly, but his retaliation’s are at 1.5X the strength as he finds ways to get through enemy defenses. (No deep lacerations nor fatal stabbings can be dealt while in this step.) (Again, this attack can never cause fatal blows.) Regal moves at .75X the normal speed of a human as he focuses himself on the defense.

Comatose: Regal twice per thread or once per battle can go into a total state of defense, his mind and limbs loosening as he performs a beautiful dance to avoid each and every enemy attack. This gives him 3X agility of a normal human, but he cannot attack while in this step. (In an open field he has advantages to defense, but in a closed off area or an area with many obstacles this can be over ridden as he has no where to avoid the attacks.) (A note about Comatose: When regal ends the dance step he is unable to perform any actions as he waits for his limbs to regain feeling. He fights for a single post at .5 speed, strength, and agility.)

Shadow’s Coil: Regal can once per thread or battle perform a counter attack against any lunge or wild swipe, moving aside or ducking below and retaliating as he sees fit. This gives him 2X speed for defense only, and 1.5X strength to retaliate.

The steps of the dance can flow only as follows: Storm of Blade’s and Shadow’s Mist/Coil can all flow from one step into another. Tempest Blade Strike and Comatose end the dance.

Shockwave: Regal has learned from his inner demon that when in a fight or when his emotions are high he can focus himself and perform a shockwave that rips the earth asunder and slams into anything in it’s way. It travels ten feet and has the 3X the strength of a normal human for impact purposes. It’s radius is only three feet wide and begins to narrow down at the five foot mark quickly. This leaves him drained and open to attacks, effectively ending Regal in the fight should someone live.

There are too many updates even for two levels. If you want to change this to your level 3 update, I'd allow that... otherwise I'd ask that you remove three of the new updates (new or changed) abilities.
