Appearance:
Like most Syver over the age of 100, Hif is fortunate enough to have stained skin. His skin is a mixture of red and darker shades of brown, that looks like a rushed oil painting. All over his thin body are small very visible lacerations, that despite his dark skin tone, are opened by direct contact with sunlight. With the exception of his tattered brown robe he is basically nude. His tangled black hair forms locks the fall just below his shoulder line.
History:
Syver-(Civ-Er)-
The Syver are a practically extinct race of the demons. There have been reports that several still roam the known world of Althanas, but it is a pure rarity to ever come across a Syver. Very little is known of the Syver, even by it's own kind. The only Syver with knowledge of their history is Grimoki, who is rumored to live deep within Concordia Forest.
The Syver are virtually human looking, separated by only a few small traits. The Syver are extremely pale and the bright lights burn them fairly easily, so often they have a red tint to their skin due to burns. Like white clothes their skin can also stain over years of abuse. Some Syver will start out young pasting their bodies with blood or anything with a dark tint, to create a different skin tone. Though it takes years to reverse the effects of the stains, it often helps to defend their skin from harmful light rays. The crimson eyes, like their skin is also weaker in the light. The effects of very bight lights can harm or even blind a Syver.
Syver do not require food or even water to live. Instead they only need blood, the way they crave blood isn't uncontrollable or fiendish though. Syver just have craving's like a regular human would for either food or water. On the verge of death due to starvation though, a Syver will become desperate. Which is very similar to any starved being.
Pre Level Zero-
Hif was like most of the living Syver's was orphaned at birth. He was given to Grimoki the Old One, by his dying mother. Grimoki's own children had long since died and he was rejoiced to take the infant. By tradition Syver children were exiled from their gaurdian at age seven and were not permitted to see them again until age 200. Grimoki couldn't separate with the child though. So he kept him until he was ten and taught him as much as he could. After his exile Hif never saw Grimoki again, but he had a feeling the old mage was still alive.
The skills of Hif have flourished since he was just a boy and now more than ever Hif feels the need to seek out Grimoki. Tradition says he can not visit the old Syver until his 200th birthday, so for now the demon waits.
Level 0 Goals:
- Participate in some small acts of evil (ie. assault, murder, etc.)
- Build a bounty and a name.
- Establish a head quarters.
- Make long lasting friends with similar goals.
Inventory:

- Walking Staff/Blunt Weapon/Oak: The sturdy oak staff has accompanied Hif throughout many adventures.
- Solar Shields/Apparel/Plastic: Basic black shade's but they protect Hif's crimson eyes from harmful light rays. Both the lens' and frames are both black.
Skills:
- Intelligence: (Above Average) Has an effect on vitually everything in Hif's life. From the success of his magic to the way he carries himself in a public setting. He is currently smarter than the average person.
- Staff Fighting: (Average) Has used his staff as a weapon in many situations, but has had no real training with the weapon.
Magic:
= Aura of Shock/(Battle:1 Quest:1)/ Surrounds the caster with a brief aura of electricity. The electricity deals a small amount of shock damage that can even stun an opponent.
The aura only lasts for 3 seconds and has a diameter of 3 feet.
= Fire Blast/(Battle:2 Quest:2)/ From his palm Hif can shoot a small ball of fire towards a target.
The ball of fire is only 7 inches in diameter.
= Azura/(Battle:1 Quest:1)/ Creates an aura of azure particles around a target. All of the azure particles floating around the target can attach themselves to skin. Upon contact with skin the particles blow up, releasing poison that irritate and/or sting the skin slightly.
An attempted instant cast of this spell results in the spell not being able propery cast, causing it to backfire right onto Hif. So for now it takes a whole post of uninterupted concentration to cast Azura.
The aura only lasts 3 seconds and has a diameter of 3 feet.
The particles are not picky when attaching to targets and can even cause damage to Hif if he enters the spells range.
(Damage dealt from this spell to PC's is entirely up to them, they can shrug the sting off or have a negative reaction.)
= Security/(Battle:2 Quest:2)/ Hif can absorb lower the damage of lower level magic projectile by casting this spell, which momentarily creates an invisible aura around Hif.
