Exactly how long does it take nowdays to judge a thread? I haven't really seen anything judged since the tourney, and I would really like to see my score in my fight against Revenant so I can learn how to improve Sei upon my return.

I'm not complaining, just a question about how long it takes a judge to judge something nowdays. Please don't push the date back on that fight now that I've said something XD

Your thread was submitted on the 5th of February, and the expected waiting time is optimistically two weeks from submission. As it happens, I have assigned your battle with Revenant to myself, and will have it judged following the completion of another thread in the list (first come first serve sadly).

So, in answer to your question, Sunday evening is the best time, Monday most likely - we are but mortal after all :D

EDIT: This is Duffy Bracken, once again being an idiot and forgetting to switch accounts before posting...

Thank you Duff Beer. :P

Once again, you solve all my problems.

I'm here all week ;)

If for some reason I cannot complete the thread by Monday, and I mean in an emergency, I will PM you with haste!

Works for me. Also, I don't suppose you mods and admins have thought about when the next tourney is happening, eh?

Heh, what would I know? I'm just the Orangutan (i.e - pm Task/Max).

The next tourney, we were going to wait till the Summer to get more activity and the regions and all that situated before we opened up new features, last I heard. No clue about the exact date or what's going on with that, I'm just in charge of it. :p

Really?! Summer?! That's retarded. >.> <.< I have to wait 5 months before I can throw myself in a tourney?!

I'm right there with you. Though, the problem with tournaments is that we barely get enough people to make the brackets, and then by the end we have only maybe three completed threads out of the 20 that we put up. If we had the flow of activity to keep them going with active people, then they'd work better.

I know I'm active enough, and you have a good track record with tournaments... now to find 30 other people that want to do something. Haha.

You are more than free to organise a tournament of your own using the recruitment forum and the Citadel/Bazaar, but for the time being, will have to organise it yourself and perhaps set up a wager system for anyone who wishes to take part.

Or we can gauge interest and try and put something up... depends on how many people are willing to participate. I'd dare to say that we could even make the rounds longer so people could finish battles. Though, that would just mean more time to procrastinate and complain at the end that there wasn't enough time. :D

I'm totally for the polling interest idea. :D

Sei needs to -win- a tourney for once, and not just third place it. One that has some standing.

The problem with simply polling interest is that there is always a large group of people interested in a tournament at the beginning, and then when it is actually underway, usually in the second round, interest dwindles and people drop out en mass.

Shut up with your 'reasoning' :P

Damn it all to hell Sei! You couldn't have just waited patiently like a good little boy for our treat, could you? Now we're going to get razor blades in our apples.

Curses.

Hmmm a razor bladed apple. Right up there with a flaming tomato.

The flaming tomato whisled through the air towards its target.

"TASTE FLAMING FRUIT FIEND!"

5 months till the next one might be enough time for me to solo my way to invincibility. I suppose though the only down side to a self-made tourney would be the rewards, but if you just want to win, that doesnt matter too much. All the threads I am in seem dead atm... *sigh* I am impatient.

Maybe spend some time pounding on some newbies in the citidel?

Sarah Palin says you shouldn't say retarded. Unless it's satire. I don't think that was.

Ed#1 puts Ed#2 in his place. Just like the good old days.

Thats ok. We all know Ed #2 runs things behind the scenes anyways.

Why do #1 when you can go # 2?

Oh, wait...

No, I was just skimming this thread since it jumped from one to three pages since I last saw it.
