Riftslayer:
When activated a liquid like black material engulfs his entire body from his ebony bracers. In this form no one can tell his real identity or recognize him. When the ebony material is cut or ripped it instantly starts repairing itself. Doesn't stop bleeding though or effect damage taken from attacks.
History
The Hero Is Born:
After relocating from Salvar to Scara Brae, Rancore quickly took into account the corruption that tainted the humble city. It seemed like everywhere he turned there was something shady going on, some street thug out to get their's, and this displeased the hero. Two months after he moved to the city and started getting situated, working for a small newspaper and renting a studio apartment in the market district, the hero read an article that was headlined "Scara Brae Needs a Hero." It turned to man onto the idea of being a crime fighter, someone who helps people who've lost their hope.
That's just the beginning of his tale...
Housing:
He rents out a studio from a shady business owner named Gregory Hicks. It is located in the market district of Scara Brae.
Scara Brae Post:
The newspaper Rancore works for, though it's nothing special, but it pays the bills. He only works for three hours every weekday. The advantage of working here is that he gets to hear the stories before the publishers get ahold of them. That means he gets the upper edge of Scara Brae's criminal underground.
Armor
Ebony Bracers: (Steel) Wears these steel bracers on his wrists so he can block or parry enemy blows. Each is engraved with a snake that wraps several times around the diameter of the bracer. Also the bracers can discharge a ebony material, at Rancore's will, that wraps itself around the Riftslayer acting as a disguise (no armor atributes).

Hand to Hand: (Above Average) Every limb is a weapon for the hero. He utilizes a variety of strikes, grappling, and submissions.
Energy Blast(1): Using this summons some of Rancore's energy a puts it into a projectile form, that he can cast from his hands at a target. The blast comes out as a blue orb, that leaves a small trail of energy tailing it as it hurls towards it's target.
- One Post: Only uses a small ammount of Rancore's energy for the blast, doesn't tire him much. The blast can cause small amounts of blunt damage, along with the chance to know an opponent back.
