Wunderbar! An introduction thread!

Hello to everyone!

Well I'm new on the forum so I figured it'd be polite to make an introduction thread. Ummm...what to say...

Well, I thought this looked like a good site, and I've been looking to do some fantasy rping. My character...I dunno. I felt like playing a pretty typical hero-sort of character, nobody evil, but I tried to make it my own? I hope he's not too cheesy or anything. I dunno, feedback is really nice and would be appreciated, I didn't know what sort of profile or character this site really expects ^^; I hope it's alright! Oh, and I posted him in the new character forum (hope that was the right place...)

Anyway, nice to meet you all! :3 If anyone wants to start a thread with me, either normal rp or battle, I'm open to it! :D

Welcome! Always glad to see new faces on the site. Honestly, we don't expect any certain type of profile or character, the more creative and varied the better! Our RoG mod who approves new characters will be able to go over your profile and make sure it fulfills some of the requirements as far as power and whatnot, and if you have any questions you can ask them there or here. Interesting profile, seems you've been writing for a good bit of time. Well organized and everything. Lol. It's good to see another writer on the boards, welcome welcome.

Quests and battles and stuff that are looking for people, or if you want to make a thread looking for others, are found in the Roleplayers Corner, in the Quest/Battle Recruitment (http://www.althanas.com/world/forumdisplay.php?f=170) area. I know there's quite a bit of stuff going on around the site too... saw an open battle in the Citadel (http://www.althanas.com/world/forumdisplay.php?f=50) (which is a battle place where you can fight anywhere you want, and when it's over the Ai'Brone monks heal you and/or revive you from death). Also, there were a couple threads in the Peaceful Promenade and Scara Brae (both forums at the top for newer players) that I saw open or at least not really gotten very far.

If you have questions about joining something that already has any posts, just PM the writer and I'm sure that they'll tell you if there is room to join or if the thread is already closed.

I like the idea you have of the whole spirits and everything. Being able to talk to them and converse as if you and the spirits were one body. kinda reminds me of an old anime from the early 2000's but none the less very very solid. I know you have the gunslinger thing in there but since you mentioned not being able to use it i'd consider either figuring a way to craft your own gun or simply rediscover another spirit. you have a knight and a dual wielding side, but maybe something a little more adept to hand to hand fighting? or possibly some kind of general for advanced strategies or something for maybe and epic sized quest?

I dunno its completely up to you your character and all lol.

but nice to meet you! you've definitely picked one of the best sites around to start with. look forward to possibly doing something with or against you! i haven't decided whether I want to keep with the original concept for my hero I had ages ago for an evil character or whether to make him good again. (gotta love memory loss)
