The Infamous (Recruit Call)

Hey gang, I just posted this thread (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=20626) up in The Citadel. It is an open challenge to EVERYONE in Althanas who wishes to join the battle. I am willing to take on ALL comers, regardless of level and it is my wish to have a truly epic battle like back in the days of Bluethanas and Tanthanas. It is my goal to have at -least- two-three opponents who are active for the battle, but also, anybody who wants to join may do so. Just post your interest here and then get to work. I am looking for anybody interested in owning Lorenor. Those of you who know, know that I enjoy fighting newcomers to the site and I enjoy finding ways to make the battle last as long as possible.

I want a lot of creative minds involved in this project. I will also be posting a quest proposal shortly as well. But for now this is just a battle recruitment.

So... is the arena complete darkness? Because if it is... that limits a lot of involvement for those of us that can't see in the dark. :p

Yeah the only schtick is that the arena is gonna be a night-time battle. However, the arena itself (The Coliseum) will be well lit with torches and stuff. You can also have your character bring their own light sources to assist them if they can't see too well in the dark. Other than that, this battle is meant to be fun and epic. Please feel free to join!

I'll join, assuming other people are there with me. I'd obviously get eaten alive in a one-on-one.

Task will be there... though he'll be "new and improved" so as I fit with Althanas a little better than I currently do. No worries though. A level 0 will be able to eat him alive if they wanted to. The best I'll be able to do is use a weapon. No magic. No fears new people! You won't be utterly destroyed just because there are higher levels.

At least, me and Lorenor have always played things fair. I can't speak for anyone else. If Slayer or Godhand decide to join... we're all fucked anyway. Hahahah

I'm contemplating a new character, one that doesn't actually do battle himself, but puts people in ....bad situations.

Basically, anyone who has seen a Saw movie, or played Heavy Rain, you'll have an idea of what this character is like.

He 'punishes the wicked', and 'offers salvation' to those he deems unjust and unworthy.

Like I said, this is only contemplation right now.

I just want to know how many people would be interested in being 'victims'. Just to see if I could actually get away with this character.

Guys I appreciate the interest. Anlanzar, you're the Trap Master dude right, or Sei pretty much? I'd have you join but the problem is, that this is a straight-up melee. We can do a trap-situation thread later on. Right now I'm concentrating on this project. Task you're right, Godhand or Dan would own all of us put together lol. It's all right though. I am looking just to have some fun. This thread isn't about winning or loosing though. This thread has a higher purpose to it.

Amen you're in. Don't worry about skill levels or anything like that. I have a specific plan I am going to execute. I just want people posting.
