Minotauric

Rham wandered down the small road quietly, contemplating to himself the past few years of his life. Living alone had it's benefits, though Rham found it difficult not having someone around he could relate to from time to time. His forge had given him the distraction he needed to keep himself from thinking too deeply into the subject but sometimes he felt it needed to be done.
He pulled the latch on the door to his small home, the door swung open and he walked inside. He felt not the need to lock his door as many people knew who occupied the house and decided to leave it alone so as not to anger it's somewhat taller inhabitant. Rham didn't find it amusing to be intimidating, though he would have to admit using it to his advantage from time to time.
The grey minotaur walked to the back of the shack where his anvil lay. He placed a hand on it, the cool feel of the heavy metal block was inviting to him. He glanced at the embers on the forge that glowed faintly, pondering his next project. He had wanted to build something to sell that would gain him a fair amount of money. Something that could be valued.
Rham threw some charcoal onto the smouldering ashes and pumped the bellows. As he pumped, he opened his mind to what was around him. He began to think of problems a person might have daily and how he could remedy that. He thought for nearly thirty minutes and could come up with nothing. The he decided.
Once the forge was hot enough, Rham took a rod of iron and began to heat it. Normally, he worked with steel, but since this item was not to be used for the purpose of fighting, he used iron. The burly Minotaur worked the metal, using his massive hammer to shape it. When he was nearly finished, he held a short round rod with another hollow rod that could be fit over the other. Rham also had a small rectangle of iron bent into a hump shape. He continued to work. His rough hands resistant to the heat of the metal, as, even though he cooled it, he refused to wear gloves because they made him clumsy when he worked.
When he was done, hours later, Rham looked with pride on his invention. It was a small sliding lock that could be placed on the inside of a door so as to keep intruders out.
By now, the sun was setting and Rham was finished tweaking his lock. He smiled and took the work to his table, which held the rest of his other finished works. It was not his favorite, nor his best idea, but Rham liked the concept of it. As for his next task, he would need to find someone willing to buy it and test his new idea.
OOC- My apologies for any spelling errors. I'm on a handheld device so IRS hard to catch those.
