...was actually extremely good.

I walked in expecting to be pleased, as I'd heard it was fairly faithful to the comics, but I also expected that Iron Man 2 would blow it out of the water.

Now?

Poor Iron Man 2 :(

My brother had me go see it with him and I was expecting some PG "take your kids to the movie" type of thing that I didn't want to see. Bought the ticket and thought nothing of the R rating. Watched and was blown away by the unexpected. Don't take your kids to this movie.

Make sure you go to this movie with the intention of watching some cheezy scenes. Stomach that and its worth the ticket.

Yeah, I was a little disturbed when I saw a lot of little kids in the theater, and there was a lot of crying going on in the course of the movie.

I guess I should be more disturbed that nobody took their kid out after the first half an hour, and it only got more adult from there.

Maybe I'm weird, but I always know at least a little about every movie I go to see, I guess I figured most parents would be careful about that sort of thing?

Nah, when I went to see Watchmen in theaters, there was a ton of little kids in the theater. There was a two year old girl in the row in front of me with both of her parents...it was crazy. Sometimes I just don't know what people are thinking. >_>

As for Kick-Ass, I haven't seen it yet but I intend on it as soon as I'm able. Still a bit more psyched for Iron Man 2 though. :P

Oh, I was too.

I'm still psyched for IM2, don't get me wrong, I think I just expected it to overshadow Kick-Ass in terms of awesome.
