Deadnight Warrior

*Duke Nuke'em Theme*
Name: Artume Zauvir
Race: Human
Age: 28
Appearance: Artume doesn't appear remarkably different from the typical human male his age. His hair is dark and very fine, falling easily around his head like a crown, only slightly longer in the back than it is near his eyes, where it would be most annoying. He is a bit taller than the average man. Artume wears, under his armor, a black linen shirt with a thick cloth wrapped about his neck and shoulders, scarlet in color and made of silk. Over this scarf goes his armor, from which a black cape sprouts and falls down to his ankles. Artume's eyes are dark blue pools of vast intelligence, a simple look into which would betray the cunning that he is known for... By those who know him, anyway. He often has a light beard, preferring to only shave when the fuzz becomes bothersome.
Equipment
Dispatcher - Dispatcher is the name of Artume Zauvir's sabre, a steel weapon just longer then a typical sword, yet thinner to allow for more effective wielding when using a weapon in his off-hand. The sword was a cherished possession of Artume's father, who crafted the blade himself and inscribed the writing upon it, which reads: "A blade to render," a simple expression meant to express just what the weapon is for, and nothing else.
Ruin - Ruin is Artume's cutlass, a slightly longer, curved sword used mostly for defensive purposes. It too is steel. Ruin got its name for being the blade that ruined Artume's livelihood, and he has kept the name merely as a reminder to himself. Ruin's scabbard was crafted by an elven leatherworker, and is decorated to look like a green serpent.
Iron plate Mail - Simple iron mail, polished and new, completely unscathed. The mail includes a chast piece, a small plate on the small of his back and two shoulder plates, all connected by thin iron mail. There are gaps in several places, and his sides and neck are completely unarmored.
History: Artume Zauvir was raised a noble in Radasanth, but was truly the bastard child of his mother and a man he never knew. The truth of his birth was not known publicly until the young man reached the age or 16, when his mother not only confessed the crime to him, but sought to have his father slain by a mercenary from eastern Fallien.
The boy had little time to react to the news before the assassination was done. His father had died simply and cleanly, in something that looked like, and what Artume believe to be, an accident. Yet the mercenary went further, slaying his mother in a much more obvious manner, making the entire deed look like a murder-suicide. Money, of course, was at the root of his motivation.
No longer a noble, but simply a common bastard boy in a city full of poor and wretched things, Artume had little choice but to head to the streets, where he lived like a rat for nearly a year. It was then that the mercenary, who he had spotted for only a moment on the night of the death of his parents, waltzed straight through the Radasanthian bazaar. Artume tailed him through the streets until he checked into the Inn.
Using the utmost care, the boy snuck through the Inn in the still of the night and silenty got into the mercenary's room. Drawing a blade from the mercenary's scabbard on the floor, Artume did away with the man in quick fashion and took the blade with him on the way out, dubbing it Ruin at that very moment.
Little of note has happened since that point in his life, despite 12 years of living. Artume has, though, decided that petty theft and killing are no longer in his best interest, and has begun to move on to greater things.
Abilities
Duel Wielding - Artume is an average swordsman when using two blades, but is a novice when limited to one, should one sword ever leave his side.
Blood Magic - He doesn't know it yet, but Artume has access to a unique kind of magic held within Ruin. If ever the blood of one of his opponents gets on the blade, the sword becomes enchanted with it, and certain abilities can be used from the cutlass depending on the nature of the opponent. Basically an ability stealer, that goes into the weapon to use the nature of the ability in a different way. (Learning an ability must be approved by the opponent).
Currently, Artume has no 'Blood Spells'.
Familiar/Mount
Valhalla (Nightmare) - A horse of black flames and smoke, which floats an inch above the ground and runs at about the speed of a regular horse. Valhalla, when not needed as transport, is a magical creature stored within an adamantine figuring in the shape of a horse, and can be summoned twice a day. Valhalla cannot be used in battle, cannot be sold, the adamantine figure cannot be sold, and Valhalla can not be rented out to people for gold or any crazy stuff.
Though Valhalla can be used against PC's if there's a reason, and the use of him is okay with all opponents.
