Anyone wanna join a thread or 3 with me? I'm looking to do a little of anything. Eventually I'm going to start up a PG with the goal of probably starting a new version of The Empire (the nation from my profile) here on Althanas. A PG revolving around making a smaller version of Alerar.

Science, technology, and the lack of the Thayne/Sway. That's what I'm going for.

Anyone have ideas, or want to jump into something with me?

I might be up for some sort of thread with Duffy...the opportunity to start putting together the resources, skills and allies needed to finally get the Flying Concordian airship project underway is too tempting. I had a plan to steal one from Alerar, but I see a spark to build from scratch right here...whaddya say?

Well Gable, I saw you had posted in my other recruitment thread and maybe this would be a better idea for our characters, since I've decided to take a different path with this character regarding the Thayne N'Jal and the betrayal of my beloved Triad. Since Rev has shown interest in this, maybe the three of us, of four including Duffy can get started on something... Although Duffy dodges my attempts to quest with him ;) What a turd-weasel!

Revenant -- Not sure what you want to do? I'll have to check your character and get back to you with something, unless you have any idea's already that you're interested in pursuing.

Duffy -- I'd love to help you build the Flying Accordion . I think that sort of thing is Exactly what I want to do with Gable. No guns or stuff like that, but weapon building along the lines of my Thunder Fist is a possibility. Airships, sounds great.

Organism -- Did you not want to do your thread idea? Or did you want to help out with the airship thing and the possibility of a PG stemming from all this?

True enough. I also have a thread in Scara Brae which is more or less a welcome party for Gable, as it's supposed to be her first real entrance into the world of Althanas. Not sure what was planned for that though. I was just going to wing it as I went and see what happened.

All my Tabula Rasa threads, of which there is currently only one, are going to be more or less experience based learning threads regarding the aspects of general Althanas society compared to what Gable is familiar with from where she grew up. Such as: Study about the scientific explanation for the ability of a person to cast magic; delving into the study of what constitutes a religion and why the Thayne/Sway are so vital to Althanas; possibly smuggling out the exiled King Iorlan (or whatever his name is) from Salvar so that I can have a high up (though exiled) NPC figure to support future endeavors into the nation for raw materials such as ore and useful land.

Not sure if anyone would be interested in the King thing? I was going to do it in a little bit, but I want to get that done probably first thing after I establish the PG dedicated to scientific and technological advancement. :p

I'm interested. Not sure how to go about writing a rather scientific study on Althanas as a multi-person quest though. Haha.
