Synopsis: This takes takes place approximately 8 years ago. A young Rayse, still in his academy days, is instructed to oversee some goods going from Knife's Edge to Ettermire. However, in the city the goods are somehow stolen, and while investigating the culprit he is tricked into assaulting a Graf and thrown into Ettermire's prison to be slated for execution. The cells are made of stone, with only a thick wooden door with a small slit below for food and such. However, the cell next door to him has someone in a similar position. Together, they plan to break out before it's too late.
Needed: One fellow prison-mate for plotting an escape and possible revenge for the ones that tricked them. I don't have the whole thing planned out so any creative assistance is welcome. Obviously, to have read/seen Monte Cristo would also help, since it's from there that I thought a prison escape thread would be fun.

As that happens to be my favorite book, I have no choice but to offer my help.
That's right. None. Nadda. Zip. Zilch. I literally had no say in typing this.

If you didn't disappear immediately after posting this, I would've probably taken you up on your offer. As it stands, this is still open to anyone, but please have the spare time available to finish it.

I still don't really know how to include people in this concept. I'm gonna start the thread off and if anyone thinks of something, they're welcome to join.
I was going to go with a 'story within a story' thing where Rayse busts out Company NPC Prince and his imprisonment in his youth is told as a backstory within the thread, but I don't know how to do that without detracting from both stories.
edit: Also I could use help with Prince of Counterpoise. (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?11421-The-Prince-of-Counterpoise) I don't think J's coming back and I'd like to finish it. The problem is I don't know how Jame/Rayse can actually get the evidence to prove there's an illegal operation going on. "Find documents" seems like a cop-out to me. Someone could play Jame or just post with some ideas. I can get the rest of the thread wrapped up after that.
