It's hard to find a good magic shop around here. If you go too cheap, the product is crap, and if you go too expensive your pockets might be empty before you even step through the door. After stamping out his cigarette in the ground, Rayse entered the magic shop.
Stepping over to the counter and cracking his neck, he made his requests, "I heard you guys could do anything, so forgive me if my needs are a little... odd.
I need two pieces of paper: When someone writes the name they identify with the most- doesn't have to be their birth name or whatnot, this paper allows the holder to track the writer to the exact position of their current location."
If any of this seems imbalanced, I have some proposed limitations: The name must be entered willingly. If I don't need this, then fine, but if I do, I want the other paper to allow me to force them to write their name, but I'll let you decide on the limitations of that since I don't want to shoot myself in the foot.
Rayse took a moment to let the clerk write it all down, then continued, "And there's this thing." He took out the Ignore Orb and put it on the table. "It's a very... interesting find. I usually keep a proxy in the auction house to scout out any useful items, and he told me that this was totally worth nine hundred of my damn crowns. Well, turns out it was. Humans, as you know, are naturally curious creatures. Whatever we pick up with our five senses we commit to our immediate memory. We process that information, and form conclusions based on the information we receive. This thing... it's an inhibitor. It exudes a sort of aura that makes the user's presence not a source of curiosity. Intricate details about appearance and mannerisms are not processed. It does not make the user invisible, but it makes him, quite literally, immune to scrutiny.
So, if this thing is magical in origin, there's more where this came from, you feel me? Let's say you run into an ex and you really wish she'd just forget you were there. That's what I want: A Forget Orb. If some unsavory characters happen to recognize me, I want them to forget I was there. The details of what I looked said, what I said, what I did, to disappear. To have the memory of me replaced with one of a total stranger. I'm wondering if that's possible."
Rayse paused another moment, then continued, "Lastly, I need what you would call a replication spell. I've heard that the requirements for one are extremely strict, but something this simple-" he pulled the locket out of his shirt and showed it to the clerk, "-Shouldn't be that hard now, should it? I'm just wondering about the price range for each replication."
