Do I need to elaborate?
Well I know I have, although mostly on other sites that had very little noob filter.
Also as a side note, have you ever had a role play ruined by one illiterate person who killed all of the clarity but you didn't have the heart to tell them to stop posting?

Everyone starts somewhere. We must all join hands and with out powers combined, we can... I have no idea, I need sleep for tomorrow so I'll finish the thought later.
But something along the lines of love, happiness, and enough sugar solves everything.

I've seen it a hell of a lot! My old site was full of them...
As to not having the heart to tell them, I'll admit that I've never had that problem. Especially when people resort to 'text talk'. One of my pet peeves - I mean, they must realise that everyone else is actually writing correctly.

Or what about when someone posts something so cliché that you just have to groan and facepalm yourself -__-

I've had a number of characters on Althanas since the Allrpg days. In that time I've seen many-a horrid post. Some people were intentionally making terrible posts, others were just plain bad writers with no intention on improving. I've even been guilty of a few horrid piles of excrement I tried to pass off as 'good writing'. I'm sure even Tolkein had the odd bout with writer's block.
It's happened on other sites too. It happens everywhere. I've found it best to try and help those that want to improve and ignore the ones that are flexing their inner jerkface.
