Izvilvin totally walked into the bazaar.
"Hello sir. I would like a Talymer longbow with a Spidersilk grip. If I add 20 Akashima Redwood arrows, how much will it cost?"

The merchant was totally watching when Izzy walked in and looked at him like... whoa, this guy is a dark elf.
"A bow of average make like that would run ya a good 575 gold, but we ain't got none o' that spidersilk. You go get some, I can put it on there. But you ever tried to take down one o' them spider magi? I knew a guy, who had a brother, who's girlfriend, knew a guy, who was cousins with someone who once knew a person who belonged to the Red Hand... and they say that Ithermoss guy turned into some freaky undead thing, rotting from the inside from one of those magi's, or magus, or maguses... one o' those spider things bites. We don't have anyone that regularly hunts for the spider silk, and we sure as hell don't go for it ourselves."
The merchant shook his head. "For the arrows, you'd be lookin' to add another 320 gold for the 20, but I'd be giving you Plynt heads with those included in that price, and a free leather quiver just for kicks."

Izvilvin's eyes crossed as the man talked. He was totally all up into this business!
"LEATHER QUIVER!" he beamed. Izvilvin then quivered because the idea of a free quiver sounded effing sweet.
"I have some other questions, sir, if that's kewl beans. I know you be busy and stuff. If I wanted a masterwork bow, how much would that be? And what if I wanted to enchant it so that the arrows it fires are covered with fire, maybe?"

"A masterwork bow would be about 923 gold. As for the arrows... firing fire is just a small enchantment away. I'd do an enchantment on the arrows as a bunch, that way it would affect all of them with one spell. It cuts costs that way. Otherwise I'd have to do each one individually, which would make them a whole lot more... fiery, but would also take a lot out of me and cost a lot more. As a bunch, the enchantment would be an additional 200 gold, 20 each arrow respectively. That would make them catch fire, but only because the Plynt I'm throwing into the deal is so reactive." The merchant gave the dark elf a few extended, and obviously meaningful winks. "Once you draw the arrow, you'd only have to think about the enchantment while touching it... and since I'm not sure how you'd not touch the arrow when it's drawn, that works perfectly. As soon as you think about it catching fire, it will do so at the flammable metal first, and work its way down the shaft while it's being... released."

"You sexy mahfah, you!" exclaimed Izvilvin. "This is exactly what I want."
Izvilvin presented his trusty abacus from within his shirt. He then moved some of the little wooden indicator thingies, somehow coming to a conclusion.
"So at 16 per arrow... and 923 for the bow itself... and 20 per arrow I want enchanted... hurrrmmmmm."
Izvilvin enabled the supercomputer within his brain to compute the numbers all good-like.
"If I get the masterwork bow, 40 arrows and enchant them all for 20 gold each, that should be 2363 gold. Right-o? If that is the case then I will totally take that business."

"Sounds good to me. I'm a bit overstocked with arrows. That leather quiver is still free, I'll just have to find the big'un that can hold up to 50 arrows at once." The merchant wandered to the back, aimlessly poking at boxes for a while so it seemed like he was serious about his job before he found the bow, arrows, and quiver which were conveniently all placed within mere feet of each other. "There you go!"
Transaction completed. I don't see a reason to have a post just saying that you gave the man money... unless it's funny. :p
Izvilvin loses 2363 gold.
Izvilvin gains one masterwork Talymer longbow; 40 redwood arrows with plynt heads; and the enchantment to light them on fire while in contact with the arrow and thinking about them... lighting on fire.
Gold removed. You have only 192 left! Oh me, oh my!
