Appearance
Jensen is near six feet tall, where’s black denim pants that are tight boot cut. He has a skin tight black t-shirt made of cotton tucked into his pants. Draped over his shoulders is a fighter’s coat that stretches down to his feet made of low grade leather and heavily modified. The arms are cut to match the length of the middle of his bicep. The front has been cut so it can’t be bound shut and across his neck is a silver chain with a pendent of a lion. He has mostly short brown hair except for two long strips that run down to his shoulders. The two strips are dyed red at the tips..


Personality
Jensen is eccentric to the extreme, going to any length to pull a joke or make himself laugh. This isn’t to be confused with making others laugh, as his mentality is very self centered. One moment he could be wining and dining a lady, the next shouting at her to make his sandwich he so rightly deserves after her pitiful failure in the sack. Jensen is normally never sullen or dour, the exact opposite of emo.
-> After years of being out with Stephanie, and months cramped inside the caves with Sei and his lot, Jensen has been warming up to people he sees nearly everyday. If you can overcome the boisterous personality of Jensen Ambrose you’ll find yourself an immortal who can actually be rather civil.


History

The Enigmatic Immortal Jensen Ambrose has been busy these past few months, almost a year in the Ixian Knight’s. He has been stuck inside those caverns for what felt like forever until at long last Jensen was assigned a mission. He went to Berevar with William Arcus, Stephanie, Adolph, Sei, and Anita to help gain the trust of a Thayne goddess, Lijom. They ensued in a battle with the climates bears, eventually tackling and Jensen killing a mighty mother bear, the entire time being turned into a tiny Salvarian Tree Frog by Jomil’s antics.

The goddess and the Immortal met head on, the woman trying to teach Jensen the error of his ways and the immortal refusing to accept her aid. In the end Jomil reluctantly gave up on Jensen. William found his new desires, Sei got his blessing and Jensen…Jensen got nothing.

Annoyed and rather angry at all this he went to vent his frustrations on Kyla with some sexual healing, only to find Sei in the bed he wanted to sleep in. There was a moment of longing, a moment of healing, and a moment of quite reflections as Jensen walked out of the room zombie like.

Time passed for the immortal, and he grew rather bored with himself. The missions he was assigned didn’t interest him, and Stephanie kept hitting him. Life was at a stalemate so to kill time he went to a local bar and found himself fighting with one of Sei’s mystic kin against some deranged Reverian Dark Elves. The two trashed the foes with relative ease, and they both left each other with a grudging respect, remembering the name Aislinn Orlouge.

A few days later and Jensen met a person who later he would decide if he hated or adored; the trouble maker Felicity Orlouge. She manipulated events and convinced the immortal to go on a date with Aislinn, the two seemingly doing nothing more than bickering about things instead of doing what Jensen was hired to do. The dirty deed. Yes that’s right. We’re talking down home cooking in the bedroom. The horizontal humpty dumpty! The walrus clap! DO YOU NEED A FUCKING PICTURE? SEX! Yep, Aislinn’s little cat Felicity hired Jensen to give his sister a good dicking.

That just wasn’t meant to be as those same elves from the bar attacked them. Jensen defeated them both, saving Aislinn, and then took her home. Felicity demanded that Jensen sleep with her, but the immortal quite frankly had enough fun for one day. It was then Felicity shared her secret with Jensen, and the immortal didn’t know what to think of the cat. He hated Felicity for what he did, but at the same time he could understand it. Still, when he attempted to let Aislinn know what was up, she screamed at him and said things she eventually would regret.

It took a while, but eventually Aislinn approached Jensen with an idea of a partnership. The two looked to each other for a while, like ducks eyeing each other across the pond who caught each other masturbating, and reluctantly Jensen sealed the deal of a partnership. Not friends, but someone he could count on.

The immortal eventually grew bored, yet again, and found himself doing missions for a one Cassandra Remi. The notirous serial killer was now employed in the Ixian Knights, and the knight had voiced his hatred of the idea from day one. On a mission to gather intelligence she had devised a plan to use a small girl from an orphanage to grant access inside the restricted sections of a zoo park where the enemy was working. Yet in that trip Jensen found himself falling in love with Azza, and noticing something growing between him and Stephanie as well. Fate would be cruel, and Jensen found himself fighting off an Alpha wolf to save his daughter, but the good times eventually ended, Azza needing to return home. When they brought her to the orphanage she screamed, hollered, wished for Jensen and Stephanie to adopt her for good, but Jensen, in traditional Jensen style, forsook the girl.

When he returned to base he confronted Cassandra Remi about the mission failure, and the woman chastised him, insulted him, and then began to insult the little girl Azza. Feeling his hatred boil forth the immortal socked the notorious serial killer in the face and on the ground. He knew at that point he needed Azza in his life. Running to Sei to get whatever he needed to prove he could be a good father and grabbing Stephanie by the arm they returned to the orphanage and confronted the mother of the children. Jensen let all his pride fly out the window and with enough persuasion the woman agreed to let Jensen and Stephanie adopt Azza.

Jensen returned with the kid sleeping on his back, letting her sleep well in her bed when they returned to the cavern, a new apartment for the immortal and his roommate Stephanie. The two had observed that they now were a family, but Jensen wasn’t yet satisfied. Throwing down the walls he had built to protect his waning sanity he took Stephanie by the hand and spoke his heart to her, eventually receiving the beating of a life time as the woman hit him furiously. Then with a tender kiss the two became one, Jensen knowing within his heart he found his soul mate.

Yet the darkness looms ever closer to the home of the Ixian Knights. He hasn’t forgotten that he now has two evils to watch for, that of Cassandra Remi adding to the list. He trains all the harder now with Ta’gaz and even Hoturi, the better prepare for the coming war. The better to protect his family.

Now that the immortal found something to live for, it would take the gods themselves to tear it away from him…


Skills
(These will be broken into PC skills, and NPC skills. PC skills will be usable against other foes, and NPC skills are skills other people can use to help RP with Jensen.)


PC Skills
(Unless otherwise stated, all skill strengths are determined on a scale as if the skill was done by a well trained solider.)
Throwing Weapons: Jensen carries upon himself three iron throwing glaives, Triangular in shape with a curve for throwing accuracy and two iron throwing daggers. He is a Professional Expert in this.

Punch Knives: A simple weapon with a handle to grip and a long blade that is the length of a forearm. He has one punch knife, tier steel. He has Expert skill in this.
-> Now Jensen has learned to fight with multiple hand weapons, including claws, quatars, and other esoteric weapons.

Hand to Hand fighting: If you need an explanation as to what this skill does, retire your character. Depending on the fighting style he employs determines his skills.

Hand to Hand fighting styles known:

Flow: Jensen can now stop a fighting stance, move into another, and return if he wished so, so masterful is the immortals abilities in hand to hand combat.

EX “___”: Jensen has used the same moves repeatedly and has learned from their use the best practical time to use them. When fighting he can boost the speed, power, or grant himself minor invulnerability when performing any of his moves in EX form. To gain an EX move Jensen must wait until full rotation of battle posts has gone by and his turn begins again. (IE in a two player battle, Jensen posts, opponent posts, Jensen posts and gains an EX move.)
->EX form cannot be used in the first post of the match, as Jensen needs to build momentum.
->Harness Energy: He can store EX up to 3 times in battle, but attempting to store anymore will not gain him anything.

Caeiporeia: Jensen enters this fighting state of loose movements and dancing rhythms to increase AGI to 2.0 but lowers END to .75 of the average human. Expert in this skill. Jensen no longer gets tired while in this stance, his experiences and battles conditioning him to keep his rhythm without tire.
-> Rhythm: Jensen is so in tune with the beat in his head that dodging attacks has now become second nature to his attacking procedure. The immortal’s DEF while in this stance is 1.5
-> Spin Kick Overdrive: Jensen performs a series of three kicks in tandem by flipping and rotating in the air. The first strike hits at STR 2.0, the next at 1.0, the last at .5
-^ EX Mode: Jensen’s body can rotate even faster, lending timing and precision to his moves. His damage is a flat 2.0 STR for each kick. Uses up one EX bar.
-> Spinning Wheel Kick: A series of kicks to disorientate the opponent, Jensen flips onto his hands, moving in a circular pattern and kick while in the splits like he were a spinning top. Strikes at STR .5 multiple times.
-^ EX Mode: Jensen can activate this ability in a flash of the eye, his body spinning rapidly in place as he clears he air around him. The speed of this attack increases to 1.5, but nothing else changes and he doesn’t travel any distance but instead stays in place. Uses 2 EX bars.

Boxing: The series of applied brutal and strategic punches and jabs for maximum efficiency. Above Average
-> Punch Drunk: If Jensen is in this fighting style and is beaten to a pulp with blunt damage (No sword strikes and what not) he can laugh the damage off for one post and strike back at 1.75X strength. Then his stats drop to .7 in all fields for the remainder of the battle. (STR, END, DEF)
-> AB Rocket Uppercut: Jensen punches the foe with a series of rolling jabs, ending with a fearsome uppercut. Strikes at 1.25 STR.
-^ EX Mode: Fired by the passion to defeat his foe, Jensen’s strikes grant him heightened resistances to blunt and minor harm while doing the Uppercut. Requires 1 EX bar.

Mixed Martial Arts: Series of different martial art skills, including Jiu Jitsu, Jensen is Above Average in this skill.

Finishing Maneuvers: Jensen can perform a finishing maneuver if sufficient time has been allotted to wearing down the opponent. These moves are devastatingly strong, but do leave the immortal open if he should miss the attack, or worse, the opponent survives. Depending on the Finisher determines the effects.

He can only perform these moves after four consecutive posts have gone by in battle. After each finisher, Jensen is winded from the exertion of force, leaving him at .25 DEF. Also, he cannot perform any (->) attacks from his fighting styles until the start of his next post, including EX moves.

Golden Glove Award Winning Punch: After Jensen taunts, he thrusts himself forward in a low slide, coming up with a rolling jabs and punches similar to AB Rocket Uppercut, but instead of finishing with the uppercut, he instead throws a right haymaker, a left haymaker, and whinds up his punch with a spiral lunge into the foes chest. STR 2.0, final hit is at STR 2.5

Playing Dirty: After a very crude taunt Jensen leaves himself wide open, letting his foe take a sucker punch. When they punch Jensen, the immortal comes back with a gut blow, stomps the opponent’s foot, hits the enemy with a violent head butt, then punches them below the belt. This attack is more of a means to really fight dirty. Needless to say it’s a deal breaker. No added Strength of Ability.

Rhythm of the Beat: Jensen can feel the energy rush through him, granting him adrenaline to perform the most complex series of moves. It starts with a slide into the foe’s gut with his knee, a half twist back before crashing downwards in a scissors kick. When the foe’s head hits the ground and bounces up Jensen stomps his foot down, twirling gracefully on it before sliding off their skull with a very boisterous bow. AGI 3.0, STR 1.5, Final hit is 2.0 STR.

And Now For The Finale!: By shouting the phrase: Curtains Rise! Jensen gives into his deepest passions and lets out a brutal combination series of punches and kicks, all moving in tandem and flowing flawlessly like a stage performance. These strikes are numerous and fly out quickly, some high, some low, and some overhead to test the limits of somebody blocking the onslaught. When the onslaught nears its peak, Jensen lowers himself and begins a series of rolling jabs into the opponent’s gut, rising the tempo with each chorus laugh until the final blow, a massive uppercut lifting himself and the foe into the air. When Jensen lands he bows to his foe, chuckling the phrase, “That’s all folks!” Each intial strike before the uppercut is .5 STR, the final blow is 2.0 STR.


NPC Skills
Flirt: Jensen loves to flirt, and will do so with anyone who is pretty looking. To determine if you qualify as pretty you must score a 7 or higher on Sheex’s Woman Watching skills. (He is not my account, but it seemed like a good scale to use.)

Immortal: Jensen is immortal. No matter what he will come back the next day alive and well. Chop off his head, his nuts, his arm, whatever, he’ll live and laugh about it the next day. This is not an excuse for him to ignore pain or whatnot, and he still feels all pain and suffers effects of the death even in his new life the next day. IE: You cut off his arm, his arm is going to hurt like a bitch for a few days. Cut off his head and he won’t be able to speak for hours after coming back.

Fearless? No, Just lack of caring: Jensen is not intimidated by Seth Dahlios, Letho Ravenheart, the boogeyman or Jesus. He just doesn’t care because he knows he will die and then come back. This astonishing revelation has left him immune to fear based affects.
-> Jensen however is terrified of pink bunnies. They threaten all he knows and questions his mortality.

I HATE THAT CREEPY BITCH!: There is no denying it, but when Jensen’s fist crossed Cassandra Remi’s mouth he made an enemy of something far more than just simply phrased dangerous. While this offers nothing for in battle or tactical abilities, this demonstrates that Jensen Ambrose HATES Cassandra Remi, as she does him.

Adoption: Jensen Ambrose and Stephanie have adopted Azza into his home. The little girl officially gets all titles and rights as befits her station as daughter to the Ixian Knight’s prime bodyguard. She also unfortunately inherits all of Jensen’s not so good monikers, ideally the eternal hassle of dealing with stories of the Noodle Incident. There is nothing he wouldn’t do to ensure her safety so Once per thread, if Azza is in danger, Jensen Ambrose can gain a full two posts in a thread to fight as if he wasn’t wounded to defend her. There are limits to this, IE Broken limbs are still broken, so if he loses an arm he can’t magically start using it. It’s just a rush of adrenaline.
-> Note: Jensen can’t use this ability if he already used it for Stephanie. Also, Jensen cannot use any of his EX moves or Special (->) moves or finishing moves.

Soul Mates: Jensen has accepted the truth before his eyes, and has opened his once shut off heart to Stephanie. She is his soul mate, and thus there is nothing he won’t do when around her to ensure her safety. Once per thread, if Stephanie is in danger, Jensen Ambrose can gain a full two posts in a thread to fight as if he wasn’t wounded to defend her. There are limits to this, IE Broken limbs are still broken, so if he loses an arm he can’t magically start using it. It’s just a rush of adrenaline.

You mean if I just did this…: Jensen will do whatever the hell it takes to piss someone off. If it means poking you, he’ll do it. Sleep with your mom? On it. Scare the shit out of your daughter? He’s on the case! Whatever it takes to get a rise out of you, because Jensen loves nothing more.

Aw Come On Steph!: Now that Jensen has found love, his more zanier tactics to get under people’s skin has started to wane. If Stephanie or Azza are with Jensen he’ll tone down the crude insults and not go nearly as far as he normally would to get a rise out of a foe.

Racial Intolerance: Jensen cannot stand Elves, and will treat them with full hostility when in his presence. He is racist towards anything with pointy ears. Dark, Wood, High, Low, Commoner Elf? Whatever, your dead meat as far as he’s concerned.

Nierika Necklace. It offers nothing in the forms of powers, nothing in the forms of skills and will not gain magical power at a later date. It is simply a necklace blessed by a druid so the petals will not wither and die. When Jensen holds it or looks to it he can feel a calmness in his sea of insanity.

Just a couple of things to clarify.

Can he use his regular abilities while accumulating EX bars?

Also, in Boxing EX mode, is he completely immune to blunt damage and some other minor harm, or does he basically gain heightened resistance against blunt damage? Because the way you put it, it could mean either of the two.

To clarify, yes, he can use his other regular moves (->) while gaining EX bars. The EX bars are not a state when activated, it literally just means that ONE move I am performing has added benefits for the cost indicated.

For boxing it would make more sense for him to have heightened resistance while performing that move.

That's fine then. I thought that since you called it the EX Mode, it was something that lasted longer and could be switched on/off. But it's all good.
