Doubtful anyone here hasn't encountered a musical link based thread at some point in their lives, but there's so much astounding music coming out now, so many awesome bands to shout to the rooftops about I thought I'd suffer another - link, details, reveal!

Villagers - Ship Of Promises (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQ6_ValNYiU)

Mercury nominated dreamy indie with a hint of rock that just sums up summer nicely, they're from Dublin, so they're cool on that alone, being this good and the flip side to Stornoway (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfI_dcH1d9U) just makes it better!

Daikaiju. Essentially surf punk themed with mellow warrior beasts. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fbckl2NCGI&a=GxdCwVVULXcQL3WiJn8SuD6D7DCDDbh_) Songs include "The Problem With Those Mothra Girls" and "The Daikaiju Who Loved Me"

The Clockwork Quartet. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4YuqjsVhfo) This is a band with a grim sense of story, so far two songs, and I am a fan. The first story is a tale of revenge that makes the blood grow cold. The second is a story of wild passion, and ends in a strange uncertainty as to whether the doctor saved his wife... or killed her and built a machine.
