Welcome.
This is probably the shortest intro thread I've ever seen. Once you get your character registered and whatnot, I'd be happy to roleplay with you (and give you tips on how to become better, if you so desire).

Don't worry: I'm literate. ;P
Short and simple is much better in these intro threads than a sob story or bio. Besides, this is where you guys go "lol n00b" anyway B:

Only the ones that got fed after midnight.
If you have any questions about the site or whatnot, feel free to contact me either PM, or AIM (Ashtonwise). I'll be more than happy to help.
I'll hit you up with a PM once I finish my character. Shouldn't be long, but names kill me.

Well I may be able to help you with that.
Going for tradition Tolkein-esq name? Is your character supposed to be comedy relief? Or is he just a normal guy of sorts?
More of a happy-go-lucky trooper exterior with a layer of crusty jackass and some deeply intense emotions on the side.

Happy go lucky typicallyn reflects better with common names.
Jack, Tom, Reeve
Stuff like that.
But ya know, that's just me.

Hello, welcome to the site! I'm Ella. ^^ I'll be interested to see your character once he's up. :3
(As for names, I have trouble with that too, have you tried looking at a certain ethnicity of name that you think would fit the style? That helps sometimes. Also name generators are lovely!)
Or, if I was completely uncreative, I could just go off and use my screen name for simplicity >.>;;
EDIT:

Hey, thanks.
I was thinking something with a bit of an old eastern feel to it. Maybe a bit deeper in to Celtic or Norse for epic-ness but w/e >.>
Iorweth Caradog any good?
(I'm Welsh, I can wax-lyrical about Celtic till the cows come home!)
Welcome to the site, get stuck in, we don't bite! (Although Atzar might, he's a strange little burrowing fellow!)
Welcome to Althanas! ^ ^
Names are always fun...
Could always roll your head across your keyboard too... that gives interesting names too.

Welcome. I strongly advise you use my method of name generating:
Step 1) rent a monkey.
Step 2) Get the monkey drunk.
Step 3) Put the monkey infront of the keyboard.
Step 5) watch the magic happen. :)
You will of course have to return the monkey if he's rented, and clean up any shall we say, "flying projectiles".

This explains so, so much.
