I really didn't feel like jumping into the AdminCP to make a forum-wide announcement, so I've made a thread here.

Althanas is please to announce that we've added an AJAX chat to the site. It's completely vB integrated, meaning that your username on Althanas is your username in the chat. It's very simple to use. It's no different than AIM, Meebo, or whatever you kids use now a days. When you first log on you might notice some obnoxious sounds. You can turn them off by clicking the speaker icon on the bottom right hand side of the screen.

The URL is located at www.althanas.com/world/chat, but I've also added a Chat Room link to the nav bar once you login. Guests aren't allowed to chat. You have to be registered on the forum to partake. I look forward to chatting with you all in the future.

There's a "Chat Room" link up on the blue bar (well, depends on which theme you're using) on the top. I think that easy enough to access.

After four hours of fiddling the only thing I actually ended up keeping was the proportional tables. Now, if you make chat into a smaller window, the chat box is always 60&#37; of the screen and the online box is always 30%. Before it was based on pixels from the edge, so the online box was huge. Weak sauce, I know.

Didn't we used to have an mIRC channel at one point? I though that was quite successful at one point.
