Warren looked down at Med once more, raising his eyebrow to it's maximum height. Med looked up at Warren, and gave him the 'massive cute eyes'. Like only a deformed demon can. Warren sighed. Giving up to Med was like giving up to a five year old. Once he knew Warren could be beaten, he would try again, and again, and get whatever he wanted.

They entered the shop, Med scuttling behind, becoming very shy. He felt guilty of his use of Warren. But he had what he wanted. The name of the shop was something Warren could not comprehend, the scrawled righting so posh it made him shiver. He dug into his pockets again. 200 gold peices, in a small leather bag. He really hoped it was enough. Eventually, he saw a welcome sign within the shop, at the far right of the counter at the back. 'Welcome to It's a Small World!' It said. There was a picture of a rising sun in the background over some nice green mountains. Very 'environmentally friendly'.

Warren strode over to the counter, glancing over at the various clothes, all small, all pricey. He really did wonder if he should be here, before he saw the slightly cheaper clothes near the back. Still pricey though. 50 gold peices for a leather armoured cloak! Rip off. All he needed was a slightly armoured cloak, nothing more! Being a Varime, however, Warren was sure he could get that down by 10. He tapped the counter twice, tilting his hat down a bit, shadowing his eyes to any people that may think him as 'suspicous'. He had had the guards on him once, and he knew what they were like.

The shopkeep glanced up as two people entered the store, he watched them browse a bit and noticed rather quickly that the man seemed very put off by the pricetags on most of the items. The shopkeep was a small man, standing only about five foot five, and sharply dressed. He too was thrifty, and appreciated those who looked around for a good deal. As the man began to make his way towards the sale area, the shopkeep rushed around the counter and towards the gentleman. He gave a quick smile to the boy and spoke eagerly.
"Good day sir, I noticed your looking at our fine cloaks. Anything I can help you with today?"

Finally, Warren noticed the little shopkeep, who was eyeing him. From his eyes, he could see that he knew how to make money without all the hassle. Warren smiled. This could go down well. Hopefully better then all the other times he had been ripped off by cheapskates. Hopefully this one was different, or different enough.
As the man scuttled over to Warren, and spoke with a certain overeager tone- A thing that Warren didn't necessarily like, but hopefully he could let it pass- the Varimean looked down, and his neck cricked. He winced slightly, and annoyance flaired. His fingers, almost atuned to Warren's anger, scrabbled for any amount of knives, but Warren told himself that he was fine.
"It's like having bloody schizophrenia sometimes..." Warren thought, cringing.
"Yeah. I just wanted to buy a cloak for my friend." Warren said simply, and motioned down to Med, who nodded at the shopkeep.
"Just something cheap."

The man spoke and gestured towards his companion. For the first time the shop keep took a good look at the other person, who was not in fact a little boy at all. "Well, we have several high quality cloaks here. They begin at 30 gold for simple cloth, then up to 50 for leather. They're all good quality and offer a bit of armor. Take your pick."

Warren looked closely at the cloaks, before coming forward. Med followed eagerly behind, like a small dog. Warren crouched down, and raised an eyebrow. They were quite good quality. And price, from what the shopkeep had said. He raised a cloak from the shelf, with leather padding on the chest and shoulders. Warren regarded it. This would be perfect, if not for the horrendous scowl that his companion was making.
"Fine. What do you want?" Warren said, gesturing helplessly.
Med smiled slightly, and excitedly rushed forward towards a garment with leather all over the outside, and a cloak made of simple cloth underneath, flowing below the armour. The leather had twisty lines on it; easily could of been done with a knife, but he didn't want to argue with Med. Med handed it to Warren, who held it with moderate disgust.
"How much is this one?"
Them knives were getting too tempting.

The shopkeep turned as the potential buyers had found what they were looking for. "Ah, what an eye your pal there has," the shopkeep said with a slight grin upon his face. "As I have said before, that cloak, being made predominantly of leather, will be fifty GP."

Warren sighed heavily, and glanced down at Med, who made massive puppy-green-eyed-demon eyes back up at him. Stupid demon. You couldn't make Warren sway in your direction with a simple look.
However, before Warren even knew what he was doing, he realised he was speaking.
"Okay." He screamed at himself as he reached casually into his pockets, and handed fifty gold peices to the shopkeep, in a square of cloth.
"Damn my two way mind! Damn it all!" Warren thought angrily. His whole psyche was a blistering red inside his head, only to be interupted by the small companion.
"Thanks." Med thought to Warren. Warren sighed. He was nice to Med. Too nice.
