From For the People Who are Still Alive! (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=15893)

Spoils: The vest given to Caduceus by Lillian Sesthal. It is soft as silk, and as light and flexible, though it carries the strength of dehlar in its threads.

I hope this will not detract from any small morsel of gold I would stand to receive. But if it must, so be it.

Judge's Decision: Caduceus gains the vest given by Lillian. However, open donning the garment he will find that the bottom hem barely falls to his belly button. That is why you should always use the fitting room before leaving the store.

Current Request: I am amenable to reducing its strength from dehlar to steel in order to effect the requisite length, reasoning that the limited supply of Lillian's sitamayini silk it carries must be amalgamated with normal silk, thereby lessening the overall strength of the cloth. As well, I would like a normal white cotton button up shirt, dark cotton trousers, a wool kippah (http://kippot4u.com/images/prod/judaica_kippah_3211_large.jpg), and a brown silk tie, if that would be allowable.

The skies over Ettermire's industrial districts were as choked with dust and smoke as ever, darkening the better part of the capital as night in the day. The evenly cobbled streets wove between the smaller shops that were fed by the great factories.

Down these streets walked the robe-clad magician, a dark piece of cloth laid with care over his arm as he entered the clothes shop Tailor Made. Some months ago he had received the vest he now carried as a gift from a dear friend, only to find that it narrowly missed fitting his too-long frame. Made from the special silk that only Lillian produced, he could not bear to part with it simply for an ill-fit, but would prefer a better tailoring, and an ensemble to complement it in proper Aleraran style.

No one was immediately apparent behind the shop's counter, though between the racks of fine clothing, he could glimpse the ebon skin of an Aleraran, busy at work, sewing some masterful garment. Feeling no small amount of guilt for disturbing such superb seaming, he tapped at the service bell.

For closures sake, not to mention I wanted to have this complete before the Serenti pops up this weekend, I have decided (with the go ahead from Zook) that there will be no need to roleplay this thread out. Instead I have given him a price for it and discussed it with Ataraxis (the creator of the vest) via aim and Lillian will be forking the entire bill for this transaction. Happy world-wide-web-birthday Zook.

Transaction details:
Caduseus Grimaldi is now the happy (and still very poor) owner of,
- One Sitamayini Silk vest that actually fits him. This material takes on the strength of Dehlar and is of excellent quality. It has all the characteristics of normal silk, with the exception of it's strength. (Due to the materials being provided already I have decided to give him a discount since the tailor did not need to do anything besides refit the suit)
- One Normal White Cotton Shirt (Button-up, because that's how the cool guys wear 'em)
- One Pair of Dark Cotton Trousers
- A Wool Kippah
- One Brown Silk Tie
Which, after the discount mentioned earlier, comes to the price of 325 gold pieces. As discussed with all parties involved the coin will be deducted from Ataraxis and not Zook. In roleplaying terms: Lillian popped into Tailor Made and opened a tab for the Magician, after feeling bad for creating him a vest that fit worse than a pillowcase with holes cut into it.
