It's been a while, so I guess I missed whatever happened to the big necromancer villain. Whatever happened? Who won? If someone could fill me on this, that would be amazing.

Xem'zund set a trap for the heroes of the war, they got caught in it, they kicked his ass with magic, springblades, spidersilk, and raw strength.

And Godhand died to deal the final blow.

And then Caden made bloody well sure he stayed that way. (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=20799)

Bloody hell.
I thought I was reading a Jim Butcher novel for a second. It was good writing, don't get me wrong, but...the similarities to Dresden unnerved me.
But, Caden put his own twists and turns on it, and I especially liked the Skinwalker. Very Pet Cemetary-esque' ending.
In any case, thanks for showing me this Aeraul.

EDIT: Err...*Caden. Yeah. Figures as much. Edit the above so that it goes to *you instead of third person referencing.

Glad to see this story come to a conclusion at last. That damn Xem'Zund's been around for like 10 years now. :p
