Strength Augmentation: For two posts after initial activation Kurai call upon the powers of his demonic lineage to increase his strength to 2x that of a normal human.
History: Kurai the forgotten one. When told about how he was found, Arai was never told that there was a second child there that day, his twin brother Kurai. The family took them both in, but Kurai around the age of 3 became a troublemaker: Being aggressive to both the couple and to Arai, destroying things for no apparent reason. Regretfully; the couple made the tough decision to separate the two.
He was taken to an orphanage on a different continent. A blacksmith from a town over later adopted him. Soon Kurai got older, and got into more trouble than the blacksmith could handle. Kurai started developing strange powers, melted furniture and other household items were a usual occurrence whenever Kurai got angry.
And so Kurai was taken back to the orphanage and was passed around from home to home until he was 15. It was at that time that the orphanage kicked him out due the fact that word got around about his antics and no one would adopt him. He was pushed onto the street during a harsh and brutal winter. He wandered the land, hungry, dying, and all the while, growing even more bitter inside.
He happened upon the house of a kind martial artist, who took him in and nursed him back to health. Kurai for the first time in his life actually found someone who actually cared for him despite his faults. He stopped his bad habits and practiced swordsmanship and other forms of fighting with his new guardian for three years.
One day, while Kurai was out at the market late one night, thieves murdered his foster father in his sleep. Kurai killed all of his father’s murderers, but the damage to his psyche had been done. From that day on, Kurai felt hatred towards all of humanity. His murderous history started by first killing his father’s killers, but then branched out to killing all the families that had disowned him.
Kurai was staying in his late father’s home for the next three years, still alone, and wondering about his heritage. None dared challenge his place in town, and with him being on the outskirts it suited the townspeople just fine. That is until he decided to come to the market for supplies and make the occasional example out of someone.
A demon messenger found him (the same one that Arai killed around a month later), he told Kurai about what he was and he asked Kurai to return to his birth mother. Kurai was hesitant at first, but then decided he could become stronger under his mother’s tutelage.
