The hanging cloth doorway was pushed aside with a swinging arm letting the bright sunlight that was more than well known in the dunes through and into the tent for a short time. Before it was let loose and returned to it’s static hanging position, a figure came through the opening. He was tall and covered in armor, from what was exposed of him not covered by the thin cape he wore. He carried nothing in either arm, except for scimitar of sorts that was wrapped in a leather sheath.
The figure placed the sword on the counter of the shop first. With his other hand, he fumbled a purse that was tied at his waist. Once obtained, he loosed the string and softly tossed it up, so that when it landed on the deck of the table, a few of the golden coins slid out. The warrior removed the piece of cloth that covered most of his face for protection against the sand, so he could speak clearly.
“This is a Vani Scimitar.” Caysim said as he pulled the curved bladed weapon form the sheath to place it on the surface of the counter.
“And that’s…two hundred gold coins. The request is simple. I want to trade this weapon in, along with those two hundred coins, and you show me what I can get in return.” Caysim said then as he planted his elbows on the counter as he lurched over staring at the different weapons around the shop.

The shopkeep, a tall man with a face that was covered by a cowl, lurched over to examine the item. He picked up the sword and held it to the light, reflecting every angle in the suns beams. Looking to the man before him, he placed the sword down and crossed his arms.
"The Scimitar's been used. I'll only let you trade it in for One hundred fifty GP. That'll make for three hundred and fifty GP. As far as what you can buy, well, that's a matter of what you want. Take a look around, and we'll talk pricing."

A hundred fifty gold pieces?
The thought wasn’t actually that bad. It’s what Caysim would have taken…at least. He wanted more for such a weapon, but he couldn’t quite argue the reasons. He had used this sword for such a very long time. Yes it was forged by his father, and its particular design could only be found by Vani smiths. It was money, however, and it was worth more than nothing at all.
“Fine, one fifty it’ll be…” Caysim said as he glanced around the shop at the various different weapons found there.
The warriors eyes were caught by Falliens various different weapons. He saw the Khanda, with its sheer size of a double edged flat blade. It was truly a beastly weapon. Its roughish design did not share the sleekness in the Tulwar, with it thin, curved blade. Then there was the strange design of the Katars. Not quite the soldiers style, but one couldn’t help, but to admire the craftsmanship.
“How about a Khanda? What materials do you have available in that brand of sword?” Caysim asked.
“On that note, look into a simple steel Kukri for me, too. Have it priced.” Caysim said then as he made his way back to the counter.

The shop keep quickly added some numbers in his head, using his fingers to help. When he had finished his math he again looked at the man.
"For the Steel Kukri, 200 gp would cover it. As for the Khanda, You could get that in steel for 250 or in Delhyn would cost ya 450. I know that's a bit more than you intended to spend, as such I suppose since your trading in the sword I could let ya have it for the two hundred and the sword."

Caysim let out a sigh as he stared at the masterwork that had went in the Kukri. Steel, but that didn’t matter. The Kukri was an amazing weapon, but he had no use for the weapon, if he did not have an actual main sword. Things would come and go, though, and the Wyvern knew that it would be better to go along with the great Khanda. He would not go with the material that the shop keep had offered, however.
“How about Dehlar, instead of Dehlyn. I have no use for anything that can be imbued. I need something to help with defense, though, and a sword can be used just as well as a shield in the right hands.” Caysim said as he put the Kukri back on the table.
“I need the blade to be slightly widened and slightly shortened. Not by much, but just a bit. I’m what you would call a close quarters man.” Caysim said as he pointed at the Khanda with his hands detailing the changes he needed.

"Dehlyn would be about 350 and the sword, and I'll throw in your extensions for free." the man said, thinking that the elongating of the defensive mechanism was nothing in parts or labor. "So do we have a deal?"
