Resolving the Unresolveds

Folks, there are over 900 threads in the Unresolveds subforum. That number is expected to break 1200 when we do the pre-3.0 cleaning. In light of this, the Althanas staff is giving you a special one-time opportunity to finish your old threads for DOUBLE EXP. That's right, I said double EXP. Any unresolved thread completed between December 1, 2010 and December 15 will earn you DOUBLE EXP. In order to pass this by the moderating staff, I did have to make a few rules though:

1) You must request, in this thread, to have your old RP adventures placed back into Althanas proper. Please post a link to the thread and the location you would like it moved to.

2) Requests must be made by December 1, 2010 to earn DOUBLE EXP.

3) Only threads completed from the Unresolveds forum earn DOUBLE EXP during this time. There will be other December perks for newer members.

4) If your partner is gone, you can bunny them out of the thread. Be advised, though, that if this is done poorly it will be reflected in your score. Lower scores mean less EXP, even when doubled.

5) The staff reserves the right to withdraw this promotion or refuse to administer rewards in the rare case this program is abused.

Dirks, what if theres an open quest posted by someone else that never had responses? May someone request that those quests be reopened, pick up a new partner for them, and then both of those people recieve double exp. for finishing it?

WOuld it just be the original quest poster who recieved the bonus? Or could the new questing partner be elgible for the EXP bonus as well?

The new partner can gain the double EXP, but only if his writing warrants it. Adding two cameo posts to the end of the quest, for example, is not enough.

Many thanks for the offer. :) For this particular quest, though, I'd really like to finish it with the people who were originally involved (you both know who you are... Izvilvin and Letho.) It's probably way too far gone for that, though.

Always glad to consider new quest ideas, though. If it doesn't get finished, I'll have to move Christina out of its shadow eventually!

Oh, so those still exist? That wasn't my understanding of the situation.
