A trip to the bazaar in Radasanth became necessary. Though Humphrey did not have much money, yet, he needed certain supplies. Searching through the bazaar stalls for a short while, Humphrey found one that reflected his needs. His eyes narrowed casually and he walked into the shop. It was a smith's shop, one where he could get the supplies he needed. Humphrey was going to make the most out of his side venture to Radasanth. Various people looked at the Kitsune oddly, but Humphrey simply smiled softly at them in return. Humphrey was basically a good man, and he did not mind the few odd stares. He walked over towards the counter...

The shopkeep was polishing a blunderbust when the kitsune walked in. As the warrior approached the counter, the gun was aimed at his face, but quickly dropped when its owner realized that he actually had a customer. "Ah, I see you've come to my store, so what can I get for ya?"

Humphrey smiled to the store clerk when the man finally addressed him. Keeping his naturally polite demeanor, The Makai Slayer made a mental list of what was needed. He wasn't there to pick up anything fancy, just basic supplies. Souped up gear would come later.

"Well. It's like this. I just need some basic Alchemy supplies. A blacksmith's hammer, and some whetstones to keep my weapons sharp. I don't have but two hundred gold pieces, and I would like to use that to get what I can today sir. Any help would be appreciated."

"For a small steel blacksmith hammer, that's only 50 GP. whetstones are about 25 for two of em, and as for the alchemy supplies, what exactly are you in the market for?" The shopkeep didn't want to price something that he was putting up on sale so early, and wind up giving this man a far more than generous discount on something usually expensive.

Making some mental calculations, Humphrey continued to smile at the shop-keeper. He nodded casually and visualized what Alchemy tools he would actually need. A basic potion-mixing kit would most likely be the most affordable solution for his current budget. After that, he would need to get an alembic, and his hands on a larger transmutation furnace. In order to transmute items, he would need to pay for more advanced tools, so a potion kit would work fine for the time being.

"A basic potion mixing kit would do me just fine sir." Humphrey said politely. "The other tools you offered will do fine. Also, instead of a small blacksmith hammer, how much would a full-sized blacksmith hammer work? I have two hundred gold to work with. I know it's not a lot, but I heard good things about this shop. I look forward to coming here regularly to supply my adventures!" Humphrey was an upbeat man, and he clearly had an easy going personality.

The sound of continuin patronage sounded similar to a cash register being opened. As such, when the man commented that he planned to return for all of his basic needs, he had inadvertantly managed to haggle a deal from the shopkeep. After all, he could give a small discount now and charge the man full price for other things later.

"The kit will be 50 GP as well, and for a full Blacksmith hammer, I usually charge 200 GP exactly, but for your patronage, I'll make an exception and give it to you for 100."

Humphrey tapped his chin for a moment or two. The price was right. He decided that he genuinely liked the store's merchant. He appeared to be a good man. Humphrey smiled.

"So how much will the total amount be? I will pay in full for all my gear right now if it is possible. Or if it is out of my budget, I will pick up everything else later. But I definitely want the stones and the hammer, the large one now. The Alchemy kit would be useful to. I just need a total amount to work with."

"Your total would come to 175 GP."

He smiled when the merchant said that. The price was just right up his alley. He would pay, of course, and return to the shop oft. Looking at the merchant, Humphrey leaned in closer for a moment and then spoke.

"We have ourselves a deal. Pleasure doing business with you chap." Humphrey said casually and handed the man one hundred and seventy five gold pieces.
