We all enjoy memes and their fun. But they typically end up pulling a topic off topic. So I figured I'd post a thread for memes.

Don't know what memes are? You suck, don't bother posting.

And remember guys, Milhouse is not a meme.

Do you really need attention this badly?

Jack Frost

I'm moving the thread on topic, don't post unless you have something on topic to post.

If you're going to do something nerdy, make it epic.

Like that dude who made the minecraft starship enterprise.

This topic has fewer memes than most of the topics you shit up with your dated memes.

Because posting memes in a thread for memes makes them dry, lame, without context and lacking spontaneity. They're flaccid and worthless, just like you.

Again with the stabs, I see a ban in the near future...

If Letho wants to wave his dick around, he's welcome to go to it. I've been who I am on here for a long time.

I'd rather die waving the middle finger than live biting my tongue.

Its interesting, the game is almost the polar opposite of a lot of popular games at the moment, using puzzle like physics over realistic ones, and being extremely formulaic in its game play (at least the way I play it).

Its also evidence in the amazing desire for people to want to build things, regardless of how abstract or removed they are. Whether it be Farms, Castles, or even characters, people were made to create, and simple games like these really appeal to that primal desire.

There have been some psychological studies about ownership and the threat of mortality, perhaps, with all the violance and war beamed straight into us nowadays its making us even more focused on these sort of creative games.

I agree, when i get a computer with higher specs I'll give it a go. I've seen some amazing things done on it, and I would love to give a go at that.

I don't know if it's just me, but is Minecraft one of the only games that get's you scared? It shivers me, yet I have no idea why. I've played stuff like Silent Hill, and that's nothing.

I've heard that alot from other people, and its true. I do a lot of mining, and when I stumble across caves I quickly kill any mobs inside and secure it with tourches, but yesturday I found a massive cave system and couldn't secure it, there were Creepers, Skeletons, Spiders and Zombies that would get the jump on me from behind because of the crazy way it was formed. Scary as hell.

I started clearing out the caves with lava, but eventually had to give it up. It didn't help that I lost by bow and arrows in a lava mining accident earlier too.
