In my opinion, after watching this "trailer" it actually seemed liked it would make a great movie, especially putting the realistic spin on MK.

Let me just say this.

I will watch this movie if Liu Kang either dies, or does not win the tournament.

Although making Sub-Zero a villain again, and advertising Scorpion as a good guy rubs me the wrong way, the lack of Liu Kang in that short more than makes up for those minor faults.

Looks like Ian Anthony Dale is Scorp, and was that Jeri Ryan as Sonya? Meh, it might get some trekkies on board. Dale played Kazuya in the recent Tekken movie, it was a bit of a fail, so lets hope this one is better.

The thing that bothered my with the Smurfs was that there was only one female smurf (two later in the show when the kids appeared). So three theories arose.

1. Smurfette was ridden more times than the town bike.
2. Smurfs were actually asexual and Smurfette was influenced by outside forces to adopts a female gender identity.
3. The Smurfs were like a reverse-beehive, with all males and one female, who engaged with just the head-honcho, Papa Smurf.

For the movie, I'm hope its number one. I think Katy Perry could take it.

the video of "the movie" is independently made ... in other words, WB (the ones who owns the rights to Mortal Kombat supposedly {Warner Bros btw}) has to give it the green light. If no green light, no movie.
