Personality: Soulless has a great desire to devour living creatures, but will keep control of its self as much as possible as to not raise suspicions as to what he is. He has a great hatred as to what he is and to any dealings with other undead.
Appearance: he looks like a pale human that is in his early 20’s, old scars are visible on his face and arms, and those who can tell, are not made by a blade, but a scalpel.
History: when Soulless was still human he was an aspiring mage, and had proven himself to be very talented. When he was just beginning his path down arcane power he met a mage by the name of Calis. Calis was a very reclusive mage who stayed far away from all others, and perform experiments on those who breach his sanctuary. Luck for Soulless Calis was also very random and decided to start teaching him, unfortunately this randomness was also Soulless’s downfall. One day Calis called Soulless to his chambers, Soulless never suspecting enters his master’s chambers, and looks at his master, waiting for Calis to explain why he was summoned, when Calis attacked, Soulless couldn’t even mount a defence against his master’s sudden attack. Hours later when Soulless finally awoke he found himself strapped to the table that Calis used for his experiments, and his master smiling down at him.
“Ah you’re finally awake, good then we can proceed with the experiment!” Calis exclaims with excitement.
“What is going on, what are you doing master!?!?” Soulless asks confused as to his master’s strange actions.
Calis smiles wide in an expression of pure ecstasy “why I’m going to make you into the most powerful undead creature ever!!! You are going to become PERFECT!!!!” Calis is practically jumping with excitement at this point, “Won’t this be fun!!! Why yes I bet it will!!!”
“NO MASTER PLEASE DON’T!!!!” Soulless begs but to no avail.
Soulless wakes 3 months later, trapped in a small cage, a strange hunger rumbles within him, a hunger not for food...but the essence of life from within creatures. Within the cage hatred and fear were his only companions. Time had no meaning within the cage. The candles which had originally lit the room having long gone out he was forced to sit there in the dark, and have his hatred and hunger build.
50 years after Soulless became what he is now, a group of adventurers enter Calis’s sanctuary, and stumble upon the cage that houses Soulless, because of their foolishness and naivety they open his cage... in seconds Soulless had sucked their very souls from their body...but it wasn’t enough to sate his hunger.
Skills:
Soul drain: if Soulless can get a good grip on his prey and look them directly in their eyes he will begin to drain their soul from their bodies killing the creature, if he is disrupted during the draining process, with takes about 20 seconds, he will be unable to try again for 20 seconds, creatures without souls, like undead, are immune to this ability, while using this ability on his prey they find it difficult to not look him in the eyes but with enough determination can be resisted.
Draining aura: this is an aura the will drain the strength of those around Soulless, causing them to become fatigued and if mortally wounded die faster. The more people the aura effects the faster it heals Soulless, 1-4 will cause him to heal slightly faster, 5 to 15 more will cause small scrapes to heal in minutes but larger wounds will take more time, 15 or more will cause even the worst wounds to heal in less than an hour. The aura affects a 5 meter radius. This aura can be turned off and on but Soulless will keep this aura off so long as he is not fighting, also this ability will affect allies and enemies all the same. If “killed” his aura is automatically activated and will affect an area of up to 10 km but with significantly reduced efficacy.
Undead: being undead he feels no pain or fear, and can take what would be normally a less serious wounds as a mere annoyance, but he still needs muscles and as such are a highly effective target seeing as Soulless wears no armor. Because of his draining aura Soulless can’t be destroyed, but he can be “killed” so long as his head or neck is damaged. Soulless muscles have no limits and as such he is 1.5 times stronger than most people and he has double the normal running/fighting energy so long as his aura is active.
Equipment: Soulless has only a cloth shirt and pants on. His hands are like natural claws with he can use to scratch and hold on to his prey easier.
