The Assassins Creed
01-02-11, 07:38 PM
Name: Creed Reine (Pronounced Rain)
Age: 21
Race: Human
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Blue
Height: Six feet
Weight: 100 pounds
Occupation: Assassin

Personality: Creed is a broken young man. The events in his life have caused him to form two mentalities. One is a cold sadistic man who will stop at nothing to avenge his people. The other is an eccentric ladies man who is hopelessly romantic and a sucker for a pretty face.

Appearance: Creed is tall and slim. He is incredibly lean and flexible, and his body is slightly built from years of fighting his own personal war. He clothes himself in formfitting black trousers and a tight sleeveless shirt. He wears incredibly light yet durable leather boots. All of the clothes he has are enchanted to grow as he does. His skin is slightly tanned due to his nationality, but like most of the men in his tribe he has a handsome face that most women find attractive. He keeps his brown hair long, and keeps his left eye completely concealed by his bangs. Behind this wall of hair he keeps his left eye closed, and the skin over his eyelid is scarred dramatically. His one reminder of what he has to live for. He cover his hands in tight black gloves.

History: Creed was born a healthy baby on the summer solstice. His parents saw this as a great sign. He was a fast learner, and was soon up on his feet and talking long before the rest of the children his age were. By the age of ten he was able to out ride, run, fight, and talk everyone but the strongest of the men in his tribe. One day when creed was twelve soldiers from a country in the south came and attacked his village. Creed rushed to defend his home, but his mother stopped him and fled the village. A man cloaked in all black stopped the two, threatening to kill them. Creed clashed blades with him and lost. The man admired Creeds skill, and instead of killing him, blinded his left eye with a dagger. Creed passed out, and awoke to find himself in another village far away from his own. A healer had managed to save his eye, but not it's sight. That day Creed swore to hunt down whoever was responsible for the killing of his people.

Eight years later he began his journey. He left accompanied by his mount, an above average sized talking hyena named Cain. The two soon met the man cloaked in black, who introduced himself as Raven Crow. He told Creed that his target was in Corone, and was a very corrupt official. In order to get his revenge he would need training, and that to amend the taking of his sight Raven would teach him the ways of the assassin. The two traveled together for a year, and Creed was taught all that Raven knew. He had the knowledge to make an expert assassin, but he would have to work at the skill. Before he could receive further training the man named Raven was killed mysteriously. On the mans body Creed found three weapons. Two were gauntlets that had knifes hidden in them, and a simple flick of the wrist would cause them to pop out, the other was a slim steel blade with the name Vengeance etched into the blade.

Stats: These will be done in a scale of 1-10 1 is average, 2 is above average, 3 is good...

Strength: 2 Creed can exert about 200 pounds of force behind a blade. He can lift about 250 pounds, but anything higher is pushing his limits.

Speed: 1.5 At Creeds best speed he can run at about a 1.5, but his average is at 1.5, so his speed is the equivalent of a well seasoned runner. If he does best speed it is the equivalent of A professional sprinter.

Reflexes: 1.5 Creed can dodge large projectiles, like rocks, or batalista spears with ease, he can dodge arrows with incredible difficulty, and is he's really lucky he can try to doge bullets with an almost impossible chance of success. But that would be a rare circumstance.

Intelligence: 2 Creed can learn at a rather fast pace, and retain knowledge rather easily.

Endurance: 3 Creed withstood having his left eye being sliced open, compared to the excruciating pain he withstood light cuts and scratches aren't even acknowledged, milder wounds are recognized but ignored for the most part, but heavier wounds can still be crippling. He can ignore up to three mild cuts before he really begins to notice them. Further cuts will drag his mind off of the task at hand and onto the pain.

Stamina: 2 Creed can run at his average speed for about three miles before needing to take a break for half an hour, then he can run for one and a half miles straight before needing a break and so on. He can sprint for a quarter of a mile, and will have to break for an hour before doing any major long distance running again.

Skills:
Passive:
Charm: Due to his smooth accent that most find pleasing to the ear, his general attractiveness, and his charming personality, even the most mentally fortified people can't help but smile at his words and like Creed. However people like Cassandra Reimi are immune to this effect.

Stealth: Due to a year of practice Creed can blend into a crowd and become invisible to the average onlooker. His footsteps take an expert ear to hear.

Combat: Above average- Creed can fight at about an above average skill level. He can easily take on an average fighter, and possibly hold his weight with an Expert.

Free running: Expert- Creed is quick on his feet, and can easily climb walls and towers given the proper footholds. He could probably fight while free running, but he hasn't tried to in the past.

Equipment:
Enchanted leather clothes: These basic leather clothes have an enchantment to grow as the wearer does.

Vengence: A slim steel blade that is four feet long, sleek, and sharp. It has a hilt similar to that of a katana, and is perfect for stabbing and slashing.

Two Hidden blades: Two assassin's creed style hidden blades made of steel, these are about seven inches long and meant for piercing only. They slide out quickly, and can be used to deflect arrows and block weapons. To use them to kill Creed must get right on his opponent and it forces the battle into close quarters. This can be used for incredibly quick assassinations.

Familiars: A large talking Hyena named Cain. Cain can fight alongside Creed in quests with brutal efficiency, but is banned from the citadel due to an unfortunate accident involving the soiling of the front lobbies carpet.

Someone has been playing to much Assassins' Creed II and III lately, but I like the character. It seems awesome, can't wait to see him in action!

Petoux, please refrain from posting in RoG threads not related to your character. There are PMs for such messages.

TAC, you have too many boosts to your stats. I'd like you to limit it to 3 for now, not counting Intelligence. And none of them can be above 1.5. Because if 1 is average, and 2 is double that amount, then at strength level 2.5 you are more than twice as strong as a normal human which is not acceptable. Unless your scale is different (because it does say only "average" and not "average human")

Also, under "Charm", mentally fortified and will-strong should be able to resist his charm.

Eh perhaps i worded my scale weird, looking back I should redirect the scale. 1 is still average, two is technically above average, I just didn't know how to quantify that in terms of where it fits against average. Wouldn't expert be "above average" or Unparalleled also be "above average? I didn't know how to quantify it. Hence why I added the explanations to the side. Perhaps I should reword my scale a bit. Mostly he is about as fast as a college track runner, and as strong an above average weight lifter. I will change up the wording of the scale and add to the charm. But its not like its a mental attack, its just a natural thing he does, and if you like him you do, most people will like his friendly personality. Its not like he can MAKE anyone like him. I will add that change in. Sorry if I'm being a bit of a pain...

I'd like to keep the pain as is, mostly because I don't plan to abuse it. Its there so he could take a mild slice and be able to keep focused on his battle. Broken limbs, deep cuts, poison, fatigue, and famine will still do regular damage, he's just more used to them.

I'd like you to limit the number of mild cuts he can take before he starts to register them. Say two or three?

Also, the problem with too many stat boosts still remains. You can have them at their current level given the descriptions, you just need to lose two (intelligence not being one of them as it doesn't affect combat directly). Although, you need to be careful with Reflexes should you choose to leave them, because dodging arrows at level zero should be an extremely rare occurrence, and even then more of a fluke than an intentional evade.

Do I have to lose them or just drop them to a lower level? I don't like leaving stats unchanged, it ends up with an unbalanced character. Its a personal preference. Could I drop strength down to a 2, stamina down to a 2 and speed down to a 1.5 and edit the descriptions?

Drop the force in Strength to 200, and lift to 250.

Drop the running distance in Stamina to 3 miles (and subsequently 1.5 and so on).

Speed's description has to be fixed, as his average is supposed to be 1.5 and not 2.

All of the changes have been made.
