The switch to Althanas 3.0 was a huge undertaking and we need help.
We are looking to hire 2 features moderators, 2 judges and 2 CMs.
Features moderators handle all PG activity, moderate all tournaments and they are also responsible for supervising the new concepts section. The daily time commitment for features moderators is generally low except for periods of increased PG activity and during tournaments. Features moderators are not expected to judge, but many of them are eventually cross trained.
Judges grade all threads on Althanas. The time commitment for judges is generally high. We expect that each judge produce two judgments a week. Depending on the size of the thread judgments have taken up to 6 hours. Judges also undergo a new training program designed to reeducate them on writing technique and critique management. While the responsibilities are high, judges are generally the most revered on the site.
Canon masters are new for Althanas 3.0. They are the new version of regions writers. The time commitment for CMs is generally high. We expect that each CM to be active in one canon thread at all times. CMs work directly with Slavegirl and Taskmienster to develop permanent Althanas stories. This position has the potential to be the most rewarding on the site. It is ideal for people who love to write, as that is what you'll be doing 9/10ths of the time.
