As most of you have noticed, the new approvals system is fairly different from the old one by way of being much more lenient. In spite of that we are asking that everyone wait until their next normal level update to tune their profile to 3.0.
When it does come time to update your profile, here are a few suggestions which may be helpful
Read the stickies in Character/PG Registration
Make sure you understand the difference between skills and abilities as defined in the RoG, and list them separately in your profile
Make sure all abilities are clearly described with any parameters and limitations defined
Group special items which grant abilities separately from regular inventory items
These things will make my job easier for now, and do the same for all future RoG Staffers. It will also speed up the approval process.
If for some reason you feel it is absolutely necessary to convert your profile now, contact me and I will evaluate the need on a case by case basis. If you're having trouble adjusting to the new system, look at some of the archived profiles as examples. Right now new RoG moderators are in training to ensure the system continues to run smoothly.
If you have questions there is a FAQ thread in the main registration forum. As a side note, Althanas is currently hiring so if you're interested in being a moderator, submit an application.
