Two/three people for a quest

I'm currently involved in a thread called "A Ship, Crew and Map" in the Scara Brae forum. Basically, me, Yari Rafanas and MinzigFrish are hijacking a ship (the Swordfish) and sailing it to Jadet, where Yari's going to get off. I'm planning to end the thread there and continue on with a follow-on thread, which will be in the Outlands section.

The plan for it is that my character, Alyrio, is planning an expedition to a mythical continent that his father claims to have discovered. The purpose of this thread is to find people who would want to be crew on the ship, which from Jadet is sailing south to Istraloth, and then further south to the purported location of the mythical continent, Marista. The thread starts when the ship arrives in Istraloth.

MinzigFrish may or may not be part of the crew (I've sent her a PM asking her if she wants to do it, and I'll post in this thread when she makes her confirmation) - I'd like to have three people for this quest if she doesn't want to do it, and two if she does (any more than five, including me and her, would be too much). When you post in here, also say what position you'd like to have on the ship. Thanks!

Been seeing no action for a while now so if you don't mind a slightly -insane- person on the boat I could work as general-purpose sailor person of sorts.. If its a nice ship she won't hurt you :P

I'm intrigued. It's amusing to imagine Marcus as a ship's chaplain/healer, but for the most part I imagine he'd act as hired muscle.

Glad we were able to wrap up the prelude to your adventure rather quickly, Pickle. Good luck to your new team. You don't need an overpowered bandit helping you out anyway.

Yeah, thanks, it's been great with you and Zarah. Just submitted the thread for judging (full rubric, light commentary) - hope it turns out OK! Just a couple of questions.

1). I'm guessing Ward is an NPC for the next thread, right?
2). Would it be allowed to start the next thread before we get the results of the rubric?

idk about the first question, but to the latter, absolutely. The mods and judges (no offense intended, I know they're busy) usually take forever and a half to judge a thread. We can start the new quest as soon as we see fit.

Yeah, start your thread asap. Ward is your npc to play with now. He won't easily reveal why he stayed. Some details (brief I'm on my phone) he's in his early 30s, dark skinned, kind disposition. Served as a sailor with the BB. Good in a fight. Tattooed, ink on his bald head. Loyal to rafanas.
